POSTS STORIES REELS

Wow.

I said it before and I’ll say it with my chest even more. ILL ROOT FOR VILLAIN KALADIN!! Anticipating him discovering his powers and seeing all the hints at home using the without knowing has been so fun. I want him to have his revenge. Adolin and Kaladin gonna cross paths on bad terms I think based on him taking the sphere but maybe that is the way he discovers who he is.

Shallan is the WORST. I hope she makes better decisions. I wonder how Jasnah and Shallan will intertwine later. I don’t dislike her chapters but Kaladin really is just more interesting right now. But her research seems to shed light on what is happening in the overarching story so I have enjoyed it.

I’m writing this small review quickly so I can jump back in. I will be back soon!!

Alright…

I have been reading slowly here and there and thought this was a good update point.

Dalinar is everything I didn’t want him to be so far. I forgot about Jasnah in my previous post, I hope she is who I wanted him to be, or the ward she has. My friend spoiled her so I will not give too much away with her because I already know what to expect with her drawings. Before he spoiled that portion I was hoping it was headed that way so I am excited to see how that goes.
Kaladin should not become a villain and based on how much love the community has, he won’t be. Unfortunate, he has the power though. I wonder how the jewels he found on the Parshendi will help him see his true power. Showing people he a real warrior was an unintentional good strategy in my opinion. People respect money and power.

Adolin can either become a massive disappointment, or a good I side man who starts to understand the true villain and can help his 🤬🤬 father, Dalinar, communicate better. Dalinar disappointing me man.

I like the world building and the side stories. His brother stole his girl 🤣
Everything about Dalinar been real mature and soft at the same time.

Syl is the most interesting character. She might become more and more visible to more people. Her power is growing in my opinion and she gonna be the one who helps Kaladin unlock his true power. She is gonna gain memories of her past, she is ancient. Is she a sliver of a God? Is she a source of power like Wind or Earth? I have 1000 thoughts on her. She looks like a form of tinkerbell in my head.

News: Office almost set up for video reviews. Maybe more wifey and son cameos 🤷🏽‍♂️ by @rldbookclub

Husband Post, I am the main one to post, my wife will always have input whenever she feels but she is not the social media type. Only FB for her. She inspired me to read more again so I will post a lot of her as she lets me. Our posts will be simple. More to share thoughts on the book in hand. I’ll include books I’m currently reading at the end. We love to chat about books.

Sporadic Posters… We don’t check this page always haha sorry if we don’t keep in touch too much. Our 2 year old keeps our attention❤️

My wife might read this after Mistborn. We are the worst at starting multiple series at once so forgive us. If they are on the list below then at least 25 pages were read in them or they are currently a duel read between each other and one is ahead of the other 🤣
Our Page, Our Rules, Have Fun.

Book 1 of Stormlight so far has my attention. I’ve been holding off starting it for no good reason so here are my initial thoughts on page 397…

Kaladin rallying men who had given up all hope has been dope to see so far. Sanderson writing is familiar to me, I have already complete Mistborn first trilogy, so the scenes have been great to visualize. I feel like I know where the story is taking me. I am going in blind so I want to write more as I go so I can see different points and how my views change.
If Kaladin became a villain, I wouldn’t be surprised and I would probably root for him. But if Kaladin is like Vin then the rags to hero trope could apply also. Both would work for me because he is my favorite so far.
Dalinar is interesting… I need more info. I hope he doesn’t become a guy who is all about seeing things and not a fighter. I would want him to realize that power is something completely different. We will see.
Sadeas could be a guy I could hate… Need more info.
Rock is gonna die, I know it. I hope he doesn’t and he stays with Kaladin throughout but, he gonna die.
