Introducing Roberta_coaching 💫

I am delighted to announce a new chapter in my career.

After working as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist for over 25 years supporting people 1:1 through some of the toughest physical and emotional challenges life can bring, I’ve noticed something big.

Along the way, I’ve seen something powerful—real transformation doesn’t just come from treating the body. It comes from supporting the whole person.

That’s what led me into coaching.

Now, I help people who are struggling with anxiety, stress, and long-term health challenges… especially those who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to get back to living their life again.

Because I’ve seen first-hand: with the right support, change is possible. Not overnight, not perfectly—but in a way that’s real and lasting.

If you’re feeling like you’ve lost your way a bit, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

This space is here for support, understanding, and a way forward 🤍

This World Mental Health Day, let’s remember that mental wellbeing isn’t about having a mind that is always calm, positive, or in control.

It’s about understanding ourselves with a little more kindness and compassion.

We all experience difficult thoughts, uncomfortable feelings, and moments when life feels overwhelming.

Sometimes, we can get caught up in our thinking and begin to see the world through the lens of our worries, fears, or past experiences.

But our experience is not fixed. Even in the middle of a difficult day, there is the possibility of a fresh perspective, a little more clarity, and a sense of calm returning naturally.

We don’t always need to fix ourselves, analyse every thought, or find a solution to every feeling.

Sometimes, what helps most is creating a little space, being gentle with ourselves, and allowing our experience to unfold without adding another layer of pressure.

Beneath the noise of our thinking, there is a natural capacity for resilience, clarity, and wellbeing that we can reconnect with.

And sometimes, the most powerful step forward is simply realising that we don’t have to believe every thought we have or carry every feeling as a permanent truth.

💚 This World Mental Health Day, may we offer ourselves and others more understanding, less judgement, and the space to be human.

Loving being back in the north of England for a weekend with family, good food, doggy cuddles and coaching.

Thank you Sarie for another gorgeous in person meet up exploring the world of the human experience. A huge thank you also to all the wonderful women there today contributing and sharing. It never feels like work 🫶💫 by @roberta_coaching

I actually feel quite excited about Autumn
Minus the giant spiders 🫪 it’s my favourite season.

What will your October be filled with? 🍂
What if it could be ..

Less pressure. More self-trust.

More listening to your body.

More compassion for where you are.

More gentle routines that support you, rather than control you.

More moments of feeling like you again. 🤎

Living with a chronic health condition can make life feel unpredictable — but you don’t have to navigate it alone.

This October, let’s focus on progress that feels sustainable, supportive, and truly yours. ✨

Continued …

4. Pause before I react.
I don’t need to cancel everything, avoid movement or make decisions from a stressed state of mind.
I’d slow down, breathe, and choose a small, manageable step.

5. Remember: I’m not broken.
Persistent pain and anxiety can change how safe movement and everyday life feel. That doesn’t mean I’m damaged or incapable of improving.
I’d build confidence gradually, through safe and meaningful activity.

Sometimes what keeps pain going isn’t ongoing injury.

It’s the cycle of fear, protection, avoidance and constant checking.

Less fear-driven fixing.
Less analysing.
More calm, confident movement.

That’s where I’d start .

Life gets busy. Days turn into weeks, weeks into months, and somehow another year has passed. We get caught up in work, responsibilities, plans, and everything in between — sometimes forgetting to pause and appreciate just how far we’ve come.

Birthdays can be a little reminder to stop, take a breath, and embrace life. To be grateful for another year, another chapter, another opportunity to make memories, love deeply, laugh often, and simply enjoy the journey.

With every birthday, I’m learning that life isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about appreciating the moments, the people, the lessons, and the little things that make life meaningful.

This birthday I decided to jump into the Irish Sea with my family 🤗. Because I could.

With zero preparation we didn’t have the right gear with us. No swimming costumes or swimming shorts and just one small towel between us- but we went in anyway. These days I don’t hang around for the right preparation, right moment, looking or feeling perfect . No comparison. Just embracing the opportunities.

So here’s to another year of life. 🥂✨
To growing, changing, letting go, making memories, and embracing whatever comes next.

Grateful for another trip around the sun. ❤️🎂

Not just championing her sport — but expanding what women can believe is possible.

A reminder that we don’t need to become more confident, more worthy or more capable. Sometimes, we simply need to trust what’s already there.

Her impact goes far beyond the ring. ❤️

Thank you, Katie, for showing the next generation what’s possible.

Who’s watching tonight?! by @roberta_coaching

✨ A little reminder for today…

Life doesn’t have to change before you can feel better.

Our experience is constantly being created in the moment — through thought, feeling, and the meaning we give to what’s happening.

You don’t have to fix every thought.
You don’t have to figure everything out.
You don’t have to control what comes next.

Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is pause, take a breath, and remember that a fresh perspective is always available. 🌱

Clarity has a way of showing up when we stop chasing it.

Trust the moment. Trust yourself. Keep moving forward. 💛
