A re-introduction for anyone new around here and some things I don’t usually get to share.

I’m a South Bay transplant who came from the Westside chasing a slower pace with the same ocean breeze. I’ve got an ugly golf swing that somehow works, a dog who’s terrified of water in a beach town, a cat who thinks he runs the house, and a daughter who’s about to prove him right.

Every morning I ruck with Birdie before the sun comes up. It’s my reset. The rest of the day I’m leading the South Bay office of the #1 team in Los Angeles and helping people find their place in this community.

This career has connected me with some incredible people and I don’t take that for granted. If you’re thinking about making a move in the South Bay or just want to talk about the area, my DMs are always open. I’m here to help.

Very high tides in the beach cities this week. Here’s a calm heads-up.

The National Weather Service has a coastal flood advisory for LA County beaches, including Manhattan, Hermosa, Redondo and El Segundo, until Thu, Oct 29 | 1 PM. Very high tides are expected each late morning, with the highest through Wednesday. Beach parking lots, bike paths and harbor walkways are the spots most likely to see sea water. The NWS says the advisory may be extended.

A few steps from the NWS and the City of Redondo Beach:

1. Protect flood-prone property. Redondo residents can pick up free sandbags at the Public Works Main Yard (544 N. Gertruda Ave) or Parks Yard (1513 Beryl St). Proof of residency may be required.

2. Bring patio furniture, trash cans and loose gear inside, or anchor them.

3. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.

4. Sign up for Alert South Bay, or text ALERTSB to 888777.

Redondo El Nino preparedness meetings with city staff and public safety:

Thu, Oct 29 | 6 PM | The Cantina, 207 N Harbor Dr
Thu, Nov 5 | 6 PM | Main Library, 2nd floor

Share this with a neighbor near the water. Updates at weather.gov/lox

Which agent are you…?

Agent who talks too much or listens? by @robertrobertoiv

Can you guess what it is?

The split 🤦🏻‍♂️

“The split, My money, I don’t want to give up that much.”

That’s where so many agents get stuck but what about the leads, resources, and support a team provides to help you close more deals?

A bigger split can still mean more money in your pocket when you’re doing more business.

Stop focusing only on what you’re giving up and look at what you could gain.

🎙️ Q4 is here and I’m closer than ever to a goal I set almost a year ago.

I sat down with one of our team leaders. @robertrobertoiv , to talk about the journey from setting that goal last November to almost reaching it.

But what’s been more meaningful than the number itself is what’s happened along the way.

The growth of the team.
The leadership opportunities.
The accountability.
And the difference Rise South Bay has made in how we’re building our business moving forward.

If you’re an agent watching this and you’ve been on the fence about making a move, watch the last 20 seconds. 👀

That’s the part I really want you to hear.
