We said goodbye to our summer team with Staff Olympics and a delicious BBQ! From the dizzy bat challenge to relay races and trivia, we shared plenty of belly laughs and enjoyed one last evening together celebrating new friendships, great memories, and adventures in the mountains. We’re so grateful for this amazing team and everything they brought to our programs this summer. Their energy, enthusiasm, and dedication helped make the season so special! P.S. Turns out Jamie’s got hops! Swipe to see for yourself. 👀 📷: Christine, RMA Staff by @rockymtnadaptive
Friends & Family Camp 2026 was one for the books! ☀️ We spent a full week unplugged at William Watson Lodge, exploring Peter Lougheed Provincial Park and making the most of every adventure. From paddling, hiking and biking to whitewater rafting with Chinook Rafting, there were so many ways to get outside and have fun together. There was also plenty of time to slow down and enjoy camp life, with campfires, s'mores, Fairy Club, and a delicious wrap-up dinner with an impromptu talent show to finish the week. Our hearts (and stomachs) are full! 🥰 A huge thank you to CIBC for supporting camp, CP Kids & Families for providing extra bikes, Nanotess and Alberta Parks for sharing their knowledge, and our incredible staff and volunteers who made the week so special. Until next year! ⛺️ #FriendsAndFamilyCamp #NoLimits #WilliamWatsonLodge #Kananaskis #ExploreAlberta by @rockymtnadaptive

This summer has been a little unpredictable 🌊🔥🥵 With so many unexpected weather changes, our team has stayed flexible and found ways to keep programs running while prioritizing the safety of our participants, staff and volunteers. Sometimes that means changing locations, rescheduling, modifying activities or coming up with a completely different plan. Whatever the day brings, our team is ready to roll with it. And through all the changes, we’ve been having a whole lot of fun this summer. 💙 by @rockymtnadaptive
📍K Country I’ll always say yes to an adventure, especially when it means being outside and exploring somewhere new. Kayaking, hiking, and taking in views like these will always be some of my favourite things. Honestly, if I could spend every day doing this, I wouldn’t complain 😂 So grateful for Rocky Mountain Adaptive (@rockymtnadaptive)and the people who make adventures like this happen. From the volunteers joining for their first summer to those who have been part of RMA for years, every person we met was so kind, passionate, and excited to be part of these adventures. You can truly see how much they care about making these experiences happen. They even got my grandma in a TrailRider for her first hike at 80 🥹🏔️ They don’t just make activities accessible — they create opportunities, memories, and adventures. 💙 by @rockymtnadaptive

Good company makes every adventure even better. 🚵⛰️ Over the past two years, Mac has joined us for all kinds of experiences, from sit skiing in the winter to kayaking, Bowhead rides, and our No Limits Camp this summer. Mac is an emerging speaker, musician, and adaptive athlete, and we were thrilled to spend the day riding the trails together at Sleeping Buffalo Mountain (Tunnel Mountain) in Banff. They’re always up for trying something new, and it’s been incredible to see him take on each new challenge. A huge shoutout to Maren, our Adaptive Bike Lead, and Jessie, our Recreation Programmer. Your planning, knowledge, and encouragement made this ride an amazing learning experience. Thanks for another great day on the trails, Mac. We can’t wait for the next one! 💙 #AdaptiveMountainBiking #AdaptiveSports #InclusiveOutdoors #Banff #Canmore by @rockymtnadaptive
