What size tire would you choose?

Over the years I’ve ran many setups from 32s all the way up to the newest one which is 42s for my XJ build. They all have pros and cons but I’m curious to hear which one you’d run and why!

Let me know

Can you run 40” tires in a Dana 44? I did for 5 years. Here’s exactly what I broke in that time.

We did hard trails, easy trails and a ton of daily driving. Over 100,000 miles on this setup!

Would you trust it? #jeep #offroad #4x4 by @rockytvofficial

It’s finally time to get the JKU setup with hydro assist. Not sure what route I’ll take with that but it’s definitely what it needs at this point! #rockytv

Had to get a before photo of the new 42” Maxxis Treps next to the XJ before I install the suspension and cage. This thing is going to be MASSIVE! #jeep #jeepxj #cherokee by @rockytvofficial

I thought this was cool! I never knew about this package before someone told me after buying it.

Also tons of XJ content is about to come out, I’ve been building this thing behind the scenes and let’s just say this is my most in depth build yet! #jeep #jeepxj #cherokee by @rockytvofficial

The Dana 30 is now fully torn down and ready for sleeves and a truss from @barnes.4wd

Then it’s time to reassemble with all new parts and get tossed under the WJ build! #rockytv

This trick is the easiest way to find out what gear ratio is in your axle! All you need is a piece of tape and to lift a tire off the ground!

Since we have to re gear the back axle that will be going under this Jeep we had to find out what the front was in order to match it.

We’ve got a decent amount of work to get this TJ back on the road. For starters that Dana 35 in the rear needs fixed or replaced. I’m pretty surprised with how long it lasted considering it’s had 37x14.50s mounted to it for so long 😂 #rockytv

These are 35s… just wait until you see it in 40s! 👀 #jeep #grandcherokee by @rockytvofficial

Rebuild, the bearings and seals in the YJ had seen better days so we swapped them all out.

Pretty quick and easy job. #jeep #mechanic by @rockytvofficial

From the day I bought my Jeep until now. We have done a ton of changes and this upcoming year won’t be any different. This year the WJ will be the main Jeep we take wheeling and to events while the JKU undergoes some major upgrades and some maintenance I have put off for a little to long! #rockytv
