Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

Happy Anniversary my baby @rodrigoliftss_ 🥹 Thank you for such an amazing first year together. I feel like it’s already been 10 years 😭🤣 Thank you for loving me the way no one else has been able to. Through having money, being broke, being hella lean and then going a little over board 😂, have no knowledge and little faith to being the closest we’ve ever been with god. I appreciate you in so many ways. First year down and forever to go 💕 by @rodrigoliftss_

12 years of putting on this uniform and lacing up these boots.
12 years of embracing the suck.
12 years later, by the grace of God, we’re still here.

12 years ago, I was a scared, skinny kid raising his right hand, wanting to be part of something bigger than himself heading to Fort Benning, GA. I had no idea where this life would take me or how much it would change me.

What an honor it’s been to serve this great nation alongside people from all over the world. Different backgrounds, different stories, wearing the same flag. A brotherhood I’m grateful to be part of. 🇺🇸

12 short years that somehow feel like a lifetime. These pictures are only a small part of it. There are so many more memories and people I couldn’t fit into one post. I’ve been to 4 different continents and all the “cool” states, not the boring ones. 😂

The biggest lesson these years have taught me is to let God take the lead. That’s something I’m still learning. Joseph served as a slave and sat in prison, but God was with him through all of it. Even when he couldn’t understand what God was doing, he kept showing up and doing the work.

I look back now and see how God was with me, too. Through the good, the bad, and the moments I had no idea what came next.

Thankful for everyone I’ve served with, everything this uniform has taught me, and every day God has given me to keep going.
