Last but not least ๐Ÿฅฒ The all glass glasses should I expand on these soon? ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿคž This sums up the whole collection.. so I wrote a couple of words ๐Ÿค STAGE 4 is the best self reflection Iโ€™ve done so far. I donโ€™t tend to express deep emotions in many words unless Iโ€™m asked, so this felt like the best way to express myself. Since I rushed home in the middle of my internship until the moment this collection came to life, I went through a crazy spiral. I experienced the final (and quite insane) moments of the person closest to me, and at the same time I had the opportunity to be a part of a team that created an outfit for my idol (she didnโ€™t end up wearing it but weโ€™ll ignore that ๐Ÿ˜…), it went on to giving cotton candy at a funeral and creating a pink grave. Combining sensitive subjects with humor has always been a natural link for me and it felt like the right time to show it in its most โ€œprovocativeโ€ way (and I had much more disruptive topics in mind). My motherโ€™s illness, combined with someone as controversial as Nicki Minaj felt so obvious, and every weird look I got from my surroundings made me much more confident. That was her way, and I think it proved itself. I hope this sheds light on who I am and what I create. Hopefully, soon Iโ€™ll be able to develop and expand this collection and use the other ideas I rejected. And if not, it meant I probably found a job that takes up all my time, which is exciting as well ๐Ÿฆ‹ ืœื ื”ื™ื” ืžืกืคื™ืง ืœื—ืคื•ืจ ื’ื ื‘ืขื‘ืจื™ืช ืื– ื–ื” ื‘ืกืœื™ื™ื“ ื”ืฉืœื™ืฉื™ ๐Ÿ˜ฌ #glassart #glasses #glassjewelry by @roeipalant
All the nail designs I created for the collection in a quick video ๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿผ From a simple clean nail, nails inspired by my motherโ€™s amethyst ring, to exploring placement of gems as scales, and funny boobs and ass nails from pearls Tomorrow Iโ€™ll post my last piece of the collection, hope you guys will stay tuned and like what Iโ€™ve created ๐Ÿค by @roeipalant
2 more pieces from the collection ๐Ÿฆ‹ Scales choker. developed after the flower breast cover. I wanted the choker to shine like a diamond, but instead of setting gems on each scale, to avoid them behind hidden, they are faceted to reflect the light. ๐Ÿ’Ž Covered in gel polish and chrome powder for a metallic look. 3 nails hoop earring. Inspired by the clip on nails but curved for a fun look. Topped with an amethyst as another homage to my motherโ€™s ring. ืขื ืืžื˜ื™ืกื˜ ืขืœื™ื• ื›ืขื•ื“ ื”ื•ืžืื–ืณ ืœื˜ื‘ืขืช ืฉืœ ืืžื ืฉืœื™ ๐Ÿ’ by @roeipalant
Kind of obsessed with this one ๐Ÿ‘€ Earring inspired by a crane fly wing and broken glass ๐Ÿ’— Glasswork done with the help of @mari.dov.glass by @roeipalant
A first glance of some nail designs! ๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿผ The placement of the first stone came from my motherโ€™s amethyst ring, from there I explored with interesting placement based on animal scales, broken glass, fine jewelry and the human body More detailed photos soon ๐Ÿ‘€ by @roeipalant
This glass piece was inspired by a crane fly that sat on our walls during my motherโ€™s shiva. Shiva is a 7 days period where the family sit with their loved ones after someone passes. I thought for some reason it was her watching us ๐Ÿ˜… I used my motherโ€™s flower painting in order to create this sheer bra, inspired by the crane flyโ€™s wing. Using glass was important to me as it can represent how fragile you can feel through the journey with cancer. Thank you @mari.dov.glass for helping me to create this piece
The journey keeps going with this beaded breast cover ๐ŸŒบ The inspiration for this piece started with a close up look at the wing of a butterfly, which showed its made out of tiny scales that creates the pattern. I took my motherโ€™s painting of a flower and combined it with a butterfly wing using AI to get a new interpretation of it. The piece is made out of tiny beads i created in 3D and threaded together to give it the butterfly wing look
