What a great day in Gallatin! Our Middle Tennessee team welcomed approximately 1,000 guests to its annual Fish Fry at The Comer Barn. Guests enjoyed great food from Uncle Bud's, live music from country music artist Craig Campbell, and time spent with friends, customers, and members of the community.

We're thankful for the continued support of our customers and the communities we call home. It's the relationships we build along the way that make days like this so special. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this year's event a success! 💙 by @rogersgroupinc

#WhyRGI is a series highlighting the stories behind our people—why they chose Rogers Group, what inspires them, and what makes them proud to be part of the RGI team. 🔴⚪️

“For me, Rogers Group is a family tradition. My granddad started with Ralph Rogers in 1951 and retired after 42 years. My dad started in 1983 and retired after 34 years. I also had three uncles and two cousins who put in a handful of years at different locations. Rogers Group has fed my family nearly my entire life, and being a part of it has been a goal of mine since I was a kid.

My day-to-day varies quite a bit. I try to visit a different location in my SMA at least four times a week, with most of those visits based on issues such as downtime or parts availability. Having a mechanical background and strong vendor relationships helps me navigate those challenges and keep things moving.

I’ve worked for other mining companies, but they weren’t able to compare to the stories and camaraderie I had spent my life hearing about at Rogers. Now that I’m part of the group, I understand why my family put in the years they did. That’s why I choose to stay. It’s not only about carrying on a family tradition—it’s about being part of something I’ve looked forward to my entire life.

Now, I hope to someday be working alongside my son. He’s already asking!”

RGI is committed to sustainable operations! 🌱

Sustainability starts with the small decisions we make every day. This past summer, our Sustainability team partnered with operations and local managers to review energy performance and identify opportunities to reduce energy use.

Across RGI, our teams are finding ways to improve efficiency through smart operating practices, teamwork and thoughtful use of our resources. We’re proud of the work happening across our operations to support a more sustainable future! by @rogersgroupinc

"Growing up near Canton Quarry, I was always fascinated by RGI's big equipment, though I was too young to fully understand what the company did. Nearly five years ago—as a newly married man with a baby on the way—I was looking for a long-term career where I could plant roots. I applied at RGI with zero industry experience, bringing only a strong work ethic and the drive to provide for my family.

What I thought might just be another job turned into so much more. I work alongside some of the best people on earth—colleagues who genuinely care about your family and well-being. Over the years, I have progressed from shoveling asphalt to driving a haul truck, operating a yard loader, digging out a crusher, running a plant, and now serving as a pit loader operator. RGI is a place where you can arrive with goals and dedication, and the company will support you in achieving them. I am living proof of that, and I am grateful every day for the opportunities RGI provides for me and my family. I thank God for all he has done for not only me but my family."

🎸 Battle of the Bands for a Great Cause!

Rogers Group's MetroCenter employees traded in their day-to-day routines for a little friendly competition during this year’s two-week United Way of Greater Nashville campaign.

Divided into four teams — Rock, Country, Hip Hop and Pop — employees participated in 284.5 hours of volunteer service, donation drives and a whipped cream toss that gave employees the chance to “pie” members of the leadership team.

We’re thrilled to share that we raised $281,542 to support local programs that strengthen education, financial stability, health and basic needs across our communities! Of that total, our corporate employees personally donated over $156,000 with an amazing 93.65% participation rate! 🙌

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated and helped make this year’s campaign such a success! ❤️

“I grew up in a farming family, so I was raised with an appreciation for hard work and the importance of giving back to the communities where you live and work. After spending several years in the tech industry, I was looking for an opportunity that aligned more closely with those values. Rogers Group stood out because its work has a direct impact on the communities we serve—from the roads people drive on every day to the partnerships and charitable initiatives that strengthen the places we call home.

As an Executive Assistant and Event Planner, my role is much more than managing calendars. I support our executive leadership and Board of Directors, plan companywide meetings and leadership events, oversee our corporate charitable contributions program, and help create opportunities that bring our people together and strengthen our connection to the communities we serve. I enjoy being part of the work that happens behind the scenes to help our leaders, employees, and communities succeed.”
