Spring Reset for bol, shot in Amsterdam Studio 2 for DEPT with @_tante.tini. The whole studio was painted in the bol green, which is always nicer than putting coloured light on a white wall. No spill, so the skintones stay neutral and you already have a lot of the brand colour in the frame. Makes it a lot easier to get something that looks good. Shot this campaign for DJI at the Justitieel Complex Schiphol, with @_tante.tini. The rig was a fun one. FX3 on an RS4 Pro with a Tilta ring grip. I had to use the Super 35 version of the zoom, because the fullframe one is electronically driven and you see the lag when you zoom fast. So I cropped in a bit with clear image zoom, and that way I could get the effect I wanted with the optical image stabilization of the lens. One person zoomed out remotely while someone else pulled focus. Happy with how it came out. Rijkdom, an eight-part online series for KRO-NCRV, made by Haegens Media. Four guys in a student house try every get-rich-quick scheme they can think of, from snail slime to a podcast. Ten shooting days around Venray: a week in a student house in Merselo, then a luxury villa, a café, a police station and the streets of Helmond. A day at Matrix Fitness in Houten, with Roy in the morning and Diede in the afternoon. We got to go moody and put a lot of action in it. Fun fact: everything was shot handheld on an ARRI Amira, without a focus puller. By the end of the day my forearm was maybe a little sore. Three commercials for Greenwheels' Let's Go Greenwheels campaign. The thing that always takes work is building a huge butterfly over the car to block the reflections of the white clouds in the windscreen. Without it you barely see anything through the glass, and even a polarizer has a hard time against that. This is the cleanest option and also the most work, but the glass ends up free of reflections and you just see the people behind it. Three commercials for CheapTickets, shot in Italy with a small crew. A beach, a mountain and a terrace. We brought one mirror to Italy and counted on the sun a bit too much. The weather didn't really cooperate, so on all three days we had a short window to shoot. On one of them it was about five minutes. Everything else was waiting and being ready.
