Be Kind!
From Accra 🇬🇭 to the world 🌍
Ideas. Systems. Culture.

POSTS STORIES REELS

10 years ago, I decided move to Ghana

I moved because I knew what I wanted to help build.

I believed Africa’s future would be shaped by entrepreneurs, creators, and builders who were willing to roll up their sleeves and do the work. I wanted to be one of them.

The last decade has been a journey of building.

Building businesses.

Building communities.

Building brands.

Building teams.

Building platforms.

Building relationships.

And sometimes, rebuilding when things didn’t go according to plan.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across music, media, technology, food and beverage, agriculture, and culture. From supporting creative ecosystems and storytelling platforms to building consumer brands and ventures designed to solve real problems.

There have been wins worth celebrating.

There have also been failures worth learning from.

Businesses that didn’t scale.

Projects that never launched.

Partnerships that ended.

Moments that tested my conviction.

But that’s the reality of building.

What I am most proud of isn’t any single company, project, or achievement.

It’s the people.

The people who chose to believe that something meaningful could be created in Africa.

Looking back, I’m grateful for the journey, the lessons, and the opportunity to contribute to a country and continent with so much potential.

The first decade was about building.

The next decade is about building bigger, building better, and building institutions that last.

2025 was about kindness; to people, to process, and to self.

It was a year of turning ideas into real systems, conversations into structures, and long-held dreams into things you can touch, taste, hear, and build around.

I learned to focus deeper, move slower where it mattered, and trust the journey even when the results weren’t loud. Progress doesn’t always announce itself, sometimes it shows up as consistency, resilience, and the quiet confidence that comes from doing the work.

Above all, I’m grateful to God for grace, direction, and strength through it all.

Thankful for the people who walked alongside me, the lessons that refined me, and the clarity shaping what’s next.

Aftown was originally launched in Ghana, but built to serve all of Africa. Excited to announce that @aftownmusic is now live in Cameroon—headquartered in Douala!

Shout out to @princeenobi & the incredible team @thecliqempirehq for seeing this through.
