I gotta admit...
that I'm a little bit confused
POSTS STORIES REELS
"Living at risk is jumping off the cliff and building your wings on the way down." Three years ago, I began my journey at Housatonic, heart filled with hope, fear, and excitement. There is no way I could've anticipated the hardship, suffering, and frustration I'd have to endure during those three years. But neither could I have anticipated all the joys, accomplishments, and incredible successes I'd experience. All the failures and successes have built who I am today. It's easy to waver when times get tough, and falter when the path forward seems uncertain, but it was faith in myself, my abilities, and my grit that kept me moving beyond all obstacles. And when eventual success came, as it always does, it'd become clear that the struggle was worth it. And so, I'd like to express my gratitude. I'm grateful for all the missed assignments, sleepless nights, torturous essays, and boring lectures. I'm also grateful for the awesome professors, successful ventures, every speech I killed, and the well-deserved vacations. Most importantly, I am grateful to all the friends who stuck by my side; who supported me during the hard times and celebrated with me during the good. And of course, I'm grateful to my family for being my foundation; for shaping me into the man I am today. As this chapter of my life comes to a close, though really it felt like a volume, I can't help but feel apprehensive. There is comfort that comes with the regularity of college, so as I set course for the great unknown, fear sneaks its way in. But stronger than this fear is curiosity; a burning desire to see what comes next in my story. Photos courtesy of @capturebycindy by @romp0
