Pocketbook sized #sketches lately (reference for the silver pitcher at the end) by @romysartstuff

first (semi-finished) painting of the year. there’s so much i’d like to add and fix like gold leaf for my rings and stuff but i leave on monday so i just wanted to finish what i can. also haven’t done a self portrait painting in a while and im glad with how this one turned out. scroll down my page to see the last one i did 🥴 also i clearly took many liberties when it came to composition and perspective but 🤫. wanna submit my work in an open gallery potentially this year so imma start painting a lot more. but yeah glad with how this turned out.

did this a while back but forgot to post it. but yeah painted @blonded in oils. turned out better than i was expecting. wish i didn’t rush it and worked on it more tbh cuz some of the lighting and coloring is off. (technically) not done but i was too lazy to do more work on it lmao

okay now that i see mine next to the original (the last image) it doesn’t look as similar as i thought. with that said tho this is prob my fav painting i have done in a while. this one turned out a lot better than i expected.

after taking a hiatus from oil painting for almost a month and a half i decided to paint the hands from “The Creation of Adam” by Michelangelo cuz it’s so beautiful lol. i was actually so surprised at how nice this turned out. specifically the hand on the left lol ignore the one on the right by @romysartstuff
