Sketches for lino print patterns from a while back (the results of which I shared in an earlier post).

I carved 4 separate square blocks of lino with different patterns drawn to the same grid. Each block has 4 possible rotations (one for each side of the square). When printed as 4 colour prints - each layer being a single rotation of a single block - it gave me the possibility to create 6,144 unique 4 colour print combinations. In the end I printed 4 that I liked for obvious reasons 😅

The digital sketches feel clean and vibrant but don't have the soul of their printed counterparts, where the hand is visible in every wobbly line and imperfection. by @__e__r__b__

After 3,089 days of dating we got married! 🌟🎉 It was a special, intimate ceremony with the people closest to us. The rain got involved and our dog-child Honey was a perfect angel princess, got mud on the dress and tripped up the bride 🥹🤍

I made a custom GPT recently that writes Processing code for me based on a text prompt. Here's an experiment using motion detection from the webcam to drive animation. by @__e__r__b__

More 2 colour reduction linocut fun. Enjoying trying to make stuff that looks mechanical but is cut by hand (possibly also relying on it because my actual carving skills are pretty shite). by @__e__r__b__

4 colour reduction lino print that I made before Christmas. Every layer is cut from the same block, removing more material each time. Except for the dark blue layer, I cheated on that bit.

Really enjoying the reduction process. Tonnes still to learn (and a nightmare to photograph) but I'm having fun. by @__e__r__b__
