Sharing the Gospel in Rap / HipHop at that time was a unique experience indeed.

😁We woke up to tags and messages from friends as @TheExperienceLagos page had asked the question “Who ministered at The Experience 2009 edition?“

We did 😁.. Yes we were headliner artists that year as @RooftopMCs and @NikkiLaoye , ministering before 500,000 people on the 4th of December, 2009

@RooftopMCs were the first HipHop group to grace The Experience stage alongside the Rock band, #ThreadStone

And I ministered that day with my brothers, @TheRealXblaze @rapttousai ; a full band setup including my friends @nelsonjason, @tomiwa_isaac_ and an outstanding dance routine with Sons of Liberty Dance team, headed by @francokwara. Much luv to you 😁💖.. I still have the phone clip video recording on my YouTube channel 😁🤣

This certainly brought back so many fond memories for my hubby @soulsnatcha and I.

It was an unforgettable night indeed, awesome moments we had and we also got to meet and be inspired by Gospel Legends we loved dearly.

We had to share some of the moments and pictures from that day with you all. 😁

#throwback - Tales from the unexpected by @rooftopmcs was off our 2nd studio album “The 2nd first impression “ released in 2006.

We work with dope producer Gold lynx in Abuja and had one session to record the entire album.
While we were writing to one beat he’ll be working on the other. When we heard this one we were like let’s do it in Yoruba there weren’t many MCs who did Yoruba raps back then. Possibly the fastest verse I ever wrote.

. Big shout out to Cool @djjimmyjatt for showing us love. I have seen how people try to tell the story of Nigerian music industry and skip the contribution of @rooftopmcs but that’s ok. We’ll tell our own stories.
