Pumped on my first run in the new rippy mag. Nostalgic to see something in print again. Boys have done an amazing job! Let’s get behind RIPTIDE so we can continue to celebrate the achievements of our photogs and surfers🔥 @riptidemag @roosterjhphoto by @roosterjhphoto
Hey Legends! The time has finally come to start putting the work I’m proud of into a more worthy format being in the way of print. Coming into 2023 I’m happy to publicly announce that this process is now underway and I’m super stoked to start offering some of my best work in the true format it deserves. Feel free to reach out via DM or email if your curious about potentially wanting a piece of my artwork on your wall, what I have to offer and the processes involved. This also marks my second year anniversary shooting water. Exiting times ahead! Much love 👨‍🎨💙 Roost X @aquatech_imagingsolutions by @roosterjhphoto

Blessed to have moments like this of Incredible light and finer details enjoyed during the early hours of morning swims in the ocean @aquatech_imagingsolutions by @roosterjhphoto
This sequence is from a memorable session with good friend @jaymaguirephoto These images hold a special little place within my mind and heart as this was the last time I was privileged to swim in the ocean with my camera and witness pure authentic magic before my eyes. Due to the car accident I was recently in it will be an unknown period of time before I can physically and confidently swim amongst waves like this again. I watched the charts and it didn’t look very promising, in fact to be honest it looked quite shit but I had my eye on a small window of opportunity, I called Jay and told him what I was looking at. Rightfully so he had his doubts but thought he’d come along for the ride anyway. I left home at 3am and we met up in the dark making our way towards the unknown. Geared up we jumped off the ledge in minimal light making our way out to what turned into a really fun 90 minute window full of good waves, light and many laughs and a little vomit. Since the accident it has been an incredibly hard and difficult road both physically & mentally. Thank you to my friends who have been there for me in any way, it means the world to me. I’m so thankful for this session and while I’ve been healing it’s a happy memory that often crosses my mind. Being able to be In the ocean gifted with moments like this is something we should always practice gratitude for and never take for granted. I can’t wait to make more of these memories in the future 🧘🏼‍♂️ by @roosterjhphoto
