Skin Diaries | pt. 1✨️

Hey it's me, your aesthetician! And yes, I have acne!

I've struggled with my acne for most of my life. I've tried countless products, medications, and at home treatments to no avail. I finally met an aesthetician who customized treatments for my acne and got my skin cleared up after years of dedication. (Huge shout out to my girl Corie @loveyourskinagainaz)

I had finally gotten my confidence back and it felt amazing... and then I started school.

Trying new products with sensitive skin can be a gamble. And at aesthetician school you need to practice on eachother using new products daily. Clearly my skin didn't approve and this is the worst my skin has ever looked.

I'm sharing this journey because I know what its like to have acne and sensitive skin. I want to show you that its not impossible to get your skin and confidence back. I know first hand how awful acne can be and how wonderful it is when you are able to look in the mirror without wincing.

I am now pre-booking clients. If you are interested in starting your customized treatments for acne or sensitive skin please DM me! I would love to help you on this journey to healthier skin🌿🤍 by @rootedinfaith_aesthetics

A little quiet lately, but a lot has been growing behind the scenes. 🌿

In the quiet moments, through the learning, the growing, and the becoming, this dream continues to take root.

With graduation just around the corner, I'm reminded that growth doesn't always happen where everyone can see it. Sometimes, the most meaningful seasons are the ones spent building quietly.

Here's to new beginnings, deeper roots, and all that's still to come. 🤍

Rooted in Faith Aesthetics — growing with purpose, one season at a time.

There's something beautiful about slowing down.

Skincare doesn't always have to be about chasing the next result. Sometimes its simply caring for the skin you're in.

Creating space for softer moments, one treatment at a time 🌿

Slow down. Breathe deeply. Let your skin be cared for. 🤍

Skin care shouldn't feel like another thing on you to-do list.

It's an opportunity to reset, refocus, and give your skin the same care.

No rushing.
No distractions.
Just you, your skin, and a little time to reset. 🌿

In a busy world self-care is easily neglected - but it doesn't have to be.

Each treatment is thoughtfully crafted around your skin's individual needs, because intentional skincare isn't about doing more. Its about doing whats right for you.

Crafted with intention. Performed with love. In a place of peace.🤍

Send this to someone who deserves a gentle reset.

Vulnerable post...

I spent years being the only person I knew with acne. Its isolating, devastating, and painful. It can be hard to look in the mirror at times. I've been there. I understand what thats like.

Its taken me years to recognize that my worth is not based on the appearance of my skin.

I've been learning to love myself just as I am while still aiming to heal my skin. My skin, for the first time in my life, was clear right before I started aesthetician school, but has since gotten worse than ever.

Its heart breaking but now I know that it is possible to have clear skin. I'm dedicated to learning how to tackle acne the right way so that I can help others with their acne and sensitive skin as well. Acne is a battle but its not one you need to fight on your own.

You are not alone.

Your acne/ eczema/ rosacea/ sensitive skin does NOT define you. 🤍

Every dream starts somewhere🤍

For me this is where it begins.

Rooted in Faith Aesthetics is more than just a name. It's a vision I've been slowly building through learning, growing, and becoming the aesthetician I hope to be.

I'm still in school. I'm still learning. And this is far from the finished vision I have in my head.

But every detail, every lesson, and every small step if part of the foundation.

So welcome to the beginning🌿
I'm so glad you're here!
