The word of the day is GRATITUDE ✨

Thank you @boldjourneymag for the opportunity to shine a light on maternal health and the mental health crisis in our country. Every mother deserves a chance to thrive and not just survive in motherhood.

The world would cease to exist without mothers. So I’ll never stop screaming about how much they deserve 👏🏾🔥

A long overdue introduction 👋🏾

If you’re a local mama, Knox Moms Night Out is happening in November, and it’s not a one-time thing. This is the first of many. Come find your people IRL!

Not in the area? The Rooted Club gives you that same community, online, wherever you are. We are launching later this year 🤩

Either way, let’s have some fun building a village we want to be apart of!

Moms in East Tennessee are facing a big problem. Postpartum mental health is a leading cause of 💀 for moms in TN. We can’t fix everything but this is our way of showing up for the mothers in our community.

Helpful community resources 🤝🏾 dance party!

We are starting in Knoxville but we have even bigger events already planned around East TN in 2027. If you couldn’t make this one, be on the lookout for the next event drop 👀

Just 12 days away from Knox Moms Night Out and we couldn’t have gotten this far without this amazing group of businesses and individuals who said “YES” to supporting mothers in our community.

As we enter the final days of preparation, I’ll be highlighting the WHY behind mom’s night out. We will also have a live conversation with @magnoliaharborcarefarm
@contact_listens @drinkdeeplylactation and @thestartingplace.knox ahead of the dance party to shine a light on maternal health in East Tennessee!

Tagging as many as I can so you all can go check them out, give them a follow and support their work!

What song am I dancing to??

We are less than a month away from the SOLD OUT event. In the next few weeks, you’ll hear more about the partners helping to make this event amazing. You’ll also be hearing more about the WHY behind the event.

But for now, we swag surf into the weekend 💃🏾🪩

Would you try this drink at @knoxmomsnightout ??

We tried a spicy blackberry margarita (zero proof) and it earned a stamp of approval.

We still have one more drink to go! Stay tuned for part 4 👀🎉

We did date night at @plunj_knoxville !

As parents with little ones, we are picky about how we spend our rare moments alone. Pouring back into ourselves at Plunj was an easy yes on a Saturday evening.

Holiday season is upon us 🎃🦃🌲

Here’s how to make the next two months even better. Hint: it involves whimsy!

I took this picture without realizing that, 10 days later, I would be grieving the loss of our first child.

7 years later, I still think about Nehemiah. What he would look like. His favorite food. His favorite toy. Who he would be when he grew up.

When I had my second baby, it stung a lot to be called a first time mom. It hurt more when people congratulated me on my FIRST baby…knowing deep down she was my second.

Overtime, it’s gotten easier to talk about. But at the time I felt like I was going through it alone. The truth is that pregnancy loss is very common, just not talked about nearly enough.

Today is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Sending so much love to all the families who’ve experienced something no parent should ever go through. Standing with you, loving you and remembering the babies we didn’t get to hold long enough 💛 by @rootedxmama

WE ARE SOLD OUT 🎉
