I was recently invited to cook for a summer series event over at @sostahouse. What a BEAUTIFUL space. If you have never had the pleasure to visit... YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST!
I can't say enough wonderful things about this spot. Thank you to chef @miaponzi for the invite. Hope to do it again soon.

Brooke Smith is the owner/operator of @good_measurepdx a rad deli and market in Milwaukie, which is home to one of my favorite tuna sandwiches in the Portland area. Brooke has curated such a cool vibe and community in the year and a half that she’s been open in downtown Milwaukie. This was such a great hang with her on the mics, we talked her culinary background, her ideals for opening Good Measure, struggles of being a small business owner, some of her favorite food spots, and more! Episode 475 is available wherever you stream podcasts or you can watch the episode on YouTube. LONG LIVE THE GOOD MEASURE LADY! by @rootsandhoneyherbs

Bye, Los Angeles. Thanks for having us. by @rootsandhoneyherbs

It's taking a village to build @good_measurepdx, but damn I'm so thankful for my community. Thank you, @roasti.toasti.boi, for letting me take your truck on a 4 hour excursion to pick up a prep sink. Luckily, you had lots of toys to keep me distracted. I LOVE EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO HAS DEDICATED TIME TO MY FUTURE. Much love ya'll. by @rootsandhoneyherbs
