Thinking everyone might need a little October morning from the farm to start their day. While there is still lot to do, the magic of October is so real and we are so lucky that we can take a little time to enjoy this beauty. #buckscounty #farmlife #ignorethetolist #radicchio by @rootstoriverfarm
Monday’s class sold out — and what a group. Nine new bread bakers, and every one of them shaped and baked a loaf of their own. They each took that loaf home, along with a jar of fresh starter and dough they mixed themselves in class to bake off the next day. Making bread doesn’t have to be complicated. Anyone can settle into a weekly rhythm that keeps fresh sourdough on the counter. There’s still room in November’s Beginner Sourdough class at @amarakitchenandtastingroom — link in bio. #buckscounty #newhopepa #lambertville #doylestown #hunterdoncounty #sourdough #sourdoughbread #sourdoughstarter #sourdoughclass #beginnersourdough #bakingclass #breadbaking #learntobake #farmtotable #cookingclass by @rootstoriverfarm
A special day spent with people who care about great food and where it comes from 🥬 Every time we visit one of our farm partners, we leave with a deeper appreciation for what it takes to grow food this way, and the impact it has on the land, the flavor, and the communities around it. Thank you to Malaika, Ian, and the team at @rootstoriverfarm for welcoming us into your fields and giving us a glimpse into the incredible amount of thought and care that goes into the soil, the crops, and ultimately the food on our plates. And thank you to the team at @air.hq for helping us bring this day to life 💚 📷: @annamariaalopez by @rootstoriverfarm
@farmtopeople hosted the ultimate field trip to visit @amarakitchenandtastingroom and @rootstoriverfarm in New Hope, PA. Here farmer Malaika Spencer and chef @iknauer connected their organic growing principles to the burst of flavor in just-picked produce and in expertly-prepared drinks, snacks and meal. After dinner, the walk-in fridge and side table became an instant farmers market where I tried my best to not become the gluttonous Augustus Gloop of vegetables. Thank you @michaelrayrobinov and @aninavh for a magical day with a spirited group of compassionate earthlings. by @rootstoriverfarm

Have you tried our pawpaw menu items yet? Pawpaw is an ultra-seasonal fruit native to our region, with a creamy, custardy texture and a sweet, funky flavor all its own! It’s only around for a few short weeks each year, so now’s the time to give it a try. Come taste it with our pawpaw panna cotta, pawpaw lemonade slushies, and our newest creation: pawpaw liquor. The pawpaws on our menu come from a special local connection: Malaika’s elementary school Spanish teacher! And in a few years, we hope to have pawpaws of our own. Our kids helped plant some saplings this spring, and we can’t wait to watch them grow. Stop by Amara Kitchen while pawpaw season lasts! 📍 3175 Sugan Road, New Hope, PA 🕒 Wednesdays, 3–8 PM | Saturdays, 12–5 PM by @rootstoriverfarm
