There’s something to say about a DJ who not only reads the crowd and mixes well, but also is BEYOND professional and brings the laughs. Swipe to the last slide for the giggle presented by @djdrose_ 😂💐🌹#roseinbloomfest 📸: @agentizaiya by @roseinbloomfest

Transparent moment: over a few months of planning, we talked to a number of potential vendors for the inaugural #roseinbloomfest. A handful wanted to secure their vendor slot. Only one followed through. This sent us into a frenzy as we got closer to the big day because we wanted attendees to have a plethora of shopping options. However, the one vendor that took the event seriously ended up being perfect for the theme, purpose, and audience. We heard whispers and questions about @nunezbeautybrand through the halls backstage and in front of the stage. @iammallory had some on and guests asked if she was wearing the same brand to make sure they were getting what they wanted. Thank you to Nunez Beauty for your professionalism and faith in us. Wishing partnership on us for the years to come. 💖🌹 📸: @agentizaiya by @roseinbloomfest

Let’s talk about the venue, @htxbodega ! (And know, this is in no way sponsored, we just appreciate good business.) HTX Bodega is a Black female-owned event space with both indoor and outdoor capabilities, which was so important because we do not compromise on having enough space to give our artists necessary perks like a green room. What we didn’t know going into this is how helpful and attentive the entire HTX Bodega crew is. You don’t just pay and get handed a blank venue. Depending on your needs/package, you receive different levels of set up assistance, a beautifully decorated on-theme bar along with bar service, support from the team during the event, and attention to detail that you may not even catch while running around like a chicken with your head cut off. Plus the venue comes with yard games, which we LOVE for something like a festival. HTX Bodega showed us the rare professionalism and relationship building that we need more of in the H. Thank you guys so much!💖🌹 #roseinbloomfest by @roseinbloomfest

Huge thanks to @elevatedbychelsey for setting the mood at the stage and bar with her beautiful balloon arrangements. Here’s the thing though: we told Chelsey the theme and color scheme, and simply asked for flowers to be incorporated. And THIS is what she created. 🥹😍 Like… branded toppers????? Come on! We truly appreciate you, Chelsey, and hope to build a continued partnership. 🌹 #sponsored by @roseinbloomfest
