Meet your infraspinatus — a tiny muscle on your shoulder blade that LOVES to act dramatic. When it’s happy, it helps you reach, lift, and rotate your arm. When it’s mad? It sends deep, sneaky pain into your shoulder and even down your arm — tricking you into thinking something’s wrong with your joint or nerves.
“mystery aches” in the front of your shoulder? Often this little lady
🖥️ Sitting slumped at your desk? She’s not a fan.
🤸 Overhead workouts or reaching behind you? She’ll make sure you remember her later.
The fix? Regular bodywork, mindful posture, and movement that reminds this muscle it doesn’t need to live in a constant state of tension.

Here’s what actually happens to your body out there — the dancing, the drinking, the late nights — your cortisol spikes, your muscles get inflamed, and your nervous system takes a real hit. that serotonin crash on sunday? Completely real.

Massage reverses all of it. Lowers cortisol, boosts dopamine and serotonin naturally, flushes lactic acid, gets your lymphatic system moving again. It’s not a luxury — it’s how you actually recover so you can enjoy the rest of your trip.

Roundhead Wellness is on fire island this summer to help. In-studio at 623 shore walk or we come to you!

As a queer owned and operated business, we truly believe that giving back to our community is our duty — and our pleasure.

@broadwaycares and @dradance have been helping the LGBTQIA+ community for almost 40 years — providing lifesaving medications, healthcare, meals, and emergency support to those who need it most. and this past weekend, we got to be part of it.

Roundhead Wellness was on Fire Island massaging the performers who gave everything on that stage at the Fire Island Dance Festival.

and the community showed up. nearly $900,000 raised.

That’s what happens when art, activism, and Fire Island are in the same place at the same time.

If you want to keep the momentum going — the link in our bio goes directly to Broadway Cares. Every dollar funds real services for real people. Go give. 💚
