And I thought game days couldn’t get any better!

On Saturday morning we filled the rooftop @graduatehotels Oxford for some feel-good Pilates overlooking the square.

As an Ole Miss alum, it felt so special to be part of the Oxford community in a whole new way. And the perfect start to game day! 💙❤️

If you couldn’t make it, don’t worry! We’re back on the rooftop the next 2 Saturdays! And spots are still available in both classes. 🔗 in bio to book

Reflecting on yesterday’s Pilates class and feeling so much gratitude 🙏🏻 One of my hopes when starting Roux was to grow a community through movement by creating a welcoming space to move, reconnect, and celebrate the people and places that shape our everyday.

Yesterday, I got to see that vision come to life. Thank you to everyone who joined our class, your energy and intention was everything! Thank you to @fischgall for opening your beautiful space to us, and to @thesocialagencyroom for capturing the essence and experience so perfectly.

I can’t wait for next Saturday!

Our Paci Pilates fall series has come to an end. It always brings me so much joy to watch moms and their little ones share this time together.

So grateful for the community that has grown around these classes, and even more excited that mom + baby Pilates will have a permanent home in our new studio! by @roux.pilates

Hi everyone! 👋🏼 For those who are new here, and those who have been following along since the beginning, I thought it was time for a little reintroduction as we prepare for an exciting new chapter at Roux!

I’m Dr. Angela Leis, founder of Roux Pilates & Physical Therapy. I was raised right here in Ridgeland, MS, attended New York University for Physical Therapy school, and completed my sports Physical Therapy residency at the #1 orthopedic hospital in the nation. I’m a Board Certified Sports Physical Therapy Specialist, nationally certified Pilates instructor, and Strength & Conditioning Specialist.

My experience across sports medicine clinics, collegiate athletics and Pilates studios has shaped the way I approach movement, rehabilitation, and overall health.

I created Roux as a way to bring my knowledge and passion for movement to my hometown. What started as an in-home physical therapy and Pilates practice is growing into something much bigger.

Our new studio will bring Physical Therapy, private Pilates, and small-group classes together under one roof.

I can’t wait to welcome you into this next chapter 🤍

Sometimes, the best thing you can do for your body is less intensity and more intention.

Cortisol is a normal part of your body’s stress response, but constantly pushing through intense workouts without adequate recovery can work against your progress.

Your body needs stress to build strength, but it also needs recovery to adapt.

Slowing down, controlling your breath, and moving with intention can help regulate your stress response while supporting muscle growth.

That’s the purpose of our Restore Mat Class. It’s about moving with intention, giving your body space to recover, and recognizing that rest is part of progress.

Class Schedule this week:
Restore Mat 🧘🏻‍♀️ Tuesday 5:30pm at Fischer Galleries
Paci Pilates 🤱Wednesday 9am at the District
Athletic Mat 🤸🏻 Saturday 9am with @by.awhit by @roux.pilates

Imagine a place where Physical Therapy and Pilates come together.

Where you can rehab, rebuild strength, and learn to move better so you feel better.

A place where you’re supported through every stage of your movement journey, whether you’re working through an injury, chasing a fitness goal, or simply wanting to feel your best.

That’s the vision behind Roux Pilates 🤍

Bringing all the facets of Roux Pilates together under one roof!

The first Pilates-based Physical Therapy studio in the Jackson metro area is opening early 2027!

Offering private Pilates, Physical Therapy, and small-group classes.

Built on the principles and community that have shaped Roux from the beginning, this space is a reflection of everything I believe movement can be - empowering, intentional, and an integral part of how we care for ourselves.

I’m very excited to be sharing this next chapter with you!
