My biggest takeaway from producing the Finely Sculpted event was learning that the entire Coogler family hadn’t been in the same room together in over 40 years.
I had no idea that my lifelong desire to celebrate and support other creatives would flourish into such a historic moment.
I was truly privileged to watch a spark ignite and see the real artist in Ira Coogler fully emerge. But beyond the art, I gained a whole new family over that weekend. I broke bread with them and watched the youngest generation be introduced to the oldest living generation. My heart is beyond full.

Please, share your talents with the world. When you hold back what’s inside you, you prevent others from receiving the blessings that were meant to manifest through your gift. If you’re reading this right now and feeling ready for your win—but you’ve been putting off creating/doing that thing you know you were called to create/do… the time is now. The blessing is in the obedience.

I am so deeply grateful to the Coogler family for welcoming me with open arms. Allowing me to shine helped create a space where the whole family could shine together.

Having the assistance of my true friend and supporter Justin O Cooper of @jocmedia_entertainment and the many individuals, like @itscharmsfab of @thevaulteventcenter_suisun and @the.sacramento.latina of @viva.la.vida_rentals , believe in the vision.. makes me feel like the wealthiest person in the world. Can’t wait to see what we do next. If this is what operating in your purpose feels like, I want to live right here forever. ✨🙏🏾🥹🤎 by @royal_ervin

Celebrating the patriarch of the Coogler family, Mr. Ira Coogler, with a celebration inspired by his artistic legacy and the elegance of a timeless golden era.

Every backdrop was thoughtfully curated to balance glamour with a refined masculine aesthetic. From our custom-designed bar to the handcrafted pampas chandelier installation, each element was created exclusively for this one-of-a-kind experience.

Our custom-built display shelves showcased Mr. Coogler’s artistic debut, Finely Sculpted, while the evening was made even more memorable with a special appearance by filmmaker Ryan Coogler, celebrating his father’s artistic debut.

At Viva La Vida Designs & Rentals, we don’t just design events—we bring extraordinary visions to life. No vision is too bold, no detail too intentional.

In the spirit of excellence, @jocmedia_entertainment was proud to be part of FINELY SCULPTED, an intimate Bay Area celebration honoring artist Ira Coogler and his creative legacy.

Co-hosted with @royal_ervin, founder and CEO of @royal_premiere_events, the evening brought together nearly 200 guests across film, art, family, culture, and community for a celebration rooted in legacy, storytelling, and Black creative expression.

This is the kind of work that reflects JOCMedia’s broader purpose: helping shape meaningful cultural moments with artists, storytellers, community leaders, and entertainment figures whose impact reaches far beyond the room.

There are moments when the room changes.
When reflection gives way to truth.

#TheRoyalTreatment begins there - in the space between what is asked and what is felt.
Some answers take time.
