From out of a pothole in Jackson, Mississippi, @headcannonofficial brings you “SUCKER BET” Released on this day, September 12th, 2026. This album has cuts that sound like something you’d find on an alt rock comp mixtape at a garage sale dated 1995. It has cuts that have the songwriting virtuosity of early power pop acts. Every single track on this album rips. Pick up a copy from the band at one of their upcoming gigs. Stream the album on Spotify, on the band’s Bandcamp or on RDR Bandcamp. I DON’T HAVE DREAMS ANYMORE - S/T (2026) This project was contrived in autumn 2023, written and recorded from opposite corners of the country— Oxnard, California & Washington, D.C., and then shelved. Today is the day it is finally released. Limited to a run of 10 tapes. Available now on the RDR bandcamp for all listening purposes. ✨ Random Bandcamp Gem ✨ I stumbled across this cassette compilation on Bandcamp called Starlit Signals (A TrueVibe Compilation), and it’s honestly such a cool find that I had to share. It’s a curated collection of tracks from rising producers around the globe. It's got futuristic grooves, chill textures, and soulful experimentation all handcrafted for tape heads and digital listeners alike. The lineup is stacked: DJ DEADPHONE – AA Batteries xSolarii – Delphi MOODMOTION – Woodland Quest Tanglebloom – Dr. Blume’s House of Assorted Jellies kjmz – Mystery Gnarrang – Lost in Translation Marcin Kulik – Dance of the Sparkly Banãnas Fossil Eater – FishyChips Phaelanx – Unsolved Questions Answered Granimus – Speedrun What makes it even better: it’s available as a limited-edition cassette (with a custom J-card and design) plus a digital album download. 🎛️ All profits go back into supporting future artist collaborations and projects at Limitless TrueVibe. If you’re into discovering boundary-free, genre-blurring sounds, this one is worth checking out. https://limitlesstruevibe.bandcamp.com/album/starlit-signals-a-truevibe-compilation #8bit #8bitmusic #synthwave #retrogaming #retro #retromusic #80s #80skid by @royaldefectrecords
