That’s a wrap ! on our first rradarr TAKEOVER at @section8melbourne No headliners. No hype. Just a lineup of artists pushing their own sound and a crowd willing to be part of it. A huge thanks to @babanashe_ @kahumuru_ , @libertyellaa & @spinnod , @rasoi.mp3 @mohitrao_ and @henna.byroop for bringing the energy and making the night one to for the books . What started as an idea turned into a room full of connection, movement, and discovery. Exactly what rradarr was built for. This scene is alive. These artists are proof. Until next time. 📸 @srusays @_harryjackson__ by @rradarr_tv
TAKEOVER 001. Five artists. Five perspectives. No boundaries. For the first TAKEOVER, we asked each artist a simple question: “What sound represents you best?” The answer is a lineup built around identity, influence and the stories behind the music. 6–7 — BABANASHE @babanashe_ The Zimbabwean DJ and producer Babanashe moves between amapiano, gqom and global club sounds while continuing to shape his own genre, Pianoswing. His sets draw from heritage, innovation and a deep connection to rhythm. 7–8 — SPINN OD & LIBERTY @spinnod @libertyellaa A sibling duo with house music running through the family, Spinn OD and Liberty bring a live performance rooted in connection, groove and dancefloor energy. Expect disco house, funky house and sounds built to move people. 8–9 — RASOI @rasoi.mp3 Blending Indian roots with a global outlook, Rasoi’s high-energy selections connect cultures and communities through sound. Moving through house, UKG, baile funk and club rhythms from around the world, every set is a celebration of movement. 9–10 — KAHU @kahumuru_ Melbourne’s favourite Māori DJ and one half of BAVHU, Kahu brings an unmistakable energy shaped by culture, community and the underground. From UKG and Jersey Club to baile funk, his sets are fast-moving, infectious and deeply personal. 10–11 — MOHIT R @mohitrao_ Known for pushing pace and pressure on the dancefloor, Mohit R explores the space where club music collides. Jersey Club, breaks, bass music, UKG, DnB and jungle come together in a set built for peak-time impact. This is TAKEOVER — a new series spotlighting the people behind the music and the sounds that shaped them. Wednesday 3 June Section 8, Melbourne @section8melbourne 6PM–11PM by @rradarr_tv
