Hey friends - we have some very exciting news to share!! We would officially like to welcome Nat as our permanent bass player ❤️ Nat (they/them) is an absolute angel and all round legend - they moved to Naarm from Boston recently with their partner Phoebe and have been playing music FOREVER. A fateful meeting between Chloe and Nat earlier in the year (shout out @ratbucket_band) immediately had Chloe going 👀👀 and as soon as we welcomed Nat into a “rehearsal” for “one show” it immediately felt like we’d played together for years. Nat is a shredder - catch them at our final 2026 show at Bonez and our first show as the new official R.U.B lineup!! We’ve been so lucky to have our dear friends Duane, Marcus, Ruby & Ned help out on bass duties over the past year while we worked out our next steps! These angels truly helped us - from all Aus states to the UK - we couldn’t be more grateful for them balancing their own very busy bands and touring schedules 🥲❤️ and you’ll still see Duane & Marcus around the traps helping out with shows & recording!! by @rub.punk
WE’RE ON THE BBC!! This week Chloe did an interview for @bbcintroducing @bbchw about playing music in Naarm whilst we got played on UK radio!!! Full interview available at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0032n3b by @rub.punk

Playing the big stage at the Croxton Bandroom two nights in a row with Trophy Eyes was so much fun - thank you so much especially to John for having us. Flying the R.U.B banner and getting to have a yarn with so many new faces about politics and our shared experiences was really special, thank you for making us feel so welcome! A massive thank you to Jimmy for doing our FOH sound, Nico & Maddie for monitors & lights and to Marcus and Duane for helping us with everything always (🥲) as diy babies it’s cool to get a glimpse of all the behind-the-scenes work that goes into these big rooms, and we were so grateful for everyone -especially Duane- for helping us navigate it 🥲❤️ first pic by @callumt.jpg vids @cuppajoe___ by @rub.punk
