We are rebuilding the ambassador program and 36 places are open.

Last year we handed out codes and then went quiet. No rhythm, no way to move up, and a title nobody had to earn. That is on us, and it is what 2027 fixes.

3 tiers you can actually climb. A brief on the 1st of every month so you never have to guess what to film. Your own code. And a season that runs a full 12 months.

No follower minimum. Any level, any discipline, any bike. If you ride and you post, you can apply.

Closes Sunday 11 October. Link in bio.

Who are you sending this to? Tag them below 🤙

3 tips to stay cool on summer rides 🤙

Aussie summer is on its way and the trails are only getting hotter, so here’s how we keep riding when the temperature climbs.

First, swap the tee for a long sleeve jersey. Covering up keeps the sun off your arms, and a technical fabric wicks sweat away from your skin so you’re not cooking under a sunburn by the halfway point.

Second, start drinking before you roll out. Turning up already hydrated makes a massive difference, and on the really hot days throw electrolytes in your bottle to replace what you sweat out.

Third, ride early or late. Dawn and twilight laps dodge the worst of the heat, and you usually get the trails to yourself.

What’s your go-to trick for surviving summer rides? Drop it below 👇

Pause Koby in the outline. Sounds easy until you try it.

@kobyh_52 is sending it, and somewhere in this clip he lines up perfectly with the outline. Stop him at the exact spot, screenshot it, and send it to us in a DM. Land it and we’ll send you a code for 15% off your next RSD order.

Minimum order is $45 and the code is good until 11:59pm Sunday 1 November, Adelaide time. Orders over $120 still ship free express anywhere in Australia, so it’s a good week to grab that CBL or a new jersey.

How many goes did it take you? Be honest in the comments 👇

Eyes Up. Elbows Out. Commit.

Plate on, goggles down and locked onto the next 3 metres of B-Rad at Fox Creek. Every practice lap was for this moment.

Huge respect to Blayke Pearce for bringing the fire at the @ildhmtbclub @first.descent.series round in the RSD Drift jersey. We’re proud sponsors of the series and race days like this are exactly why.

Be honest, what goes through your head in the start gate? Drop it below 👇

Keep it Rubber Side Down 🤙 by @rubbersidedownglobal

Ditch the backpack on your next trail ride.

The Cargo Base Layer is a super lightweight technical layer that goes under your jersey or tech tee. The rear pockets carry your phone, keys, snacks and a spare tube, so the pack stays in the car and your back stays cool on the hot days.

Load it the smart way. Soft and flat in the pockets, hard and heavy on the bike.

What are you still hauling around in a backpack on trail rides? Grab yours via the link in bio.

Applications for the 2027 RSD Ambassador Program close tonight.

To every rider who has already put their hand up, thank you. We have been blown away by the applications coming in, and reading about why you ride and what you want to get out of the next 12 months has been the best part of our week.

If you have been sitting on it, you have until midnight tonight ACDT. The link is in our bio and it takes a few minutes.

We will be in touch with successful applicants over the next few weeks. Who is tagging the mate who still has not applied? 🤙

4 MTB myths that are quietly making you slower and sketchier on the bike.

Myth 1 says your front brake will throw you over the bars. Grab a fistful and yes, it will. Squeeze it smoothly and it does most of your braking, because that is where your weight goes when you slow down. Riders who are scared of the front brake end up skidding the rear and losing control anyway.

Myth 2 says wider bars are always better. Wider bars give you leverage and stability up to a point. Go too wide and tight switchbacks get awkward, trees get closer, and your shoulders will let you know about it by the end of the ride.

Myth 3 says lower tyre pressure is always faster. Dropping pressure gives you grip until the tyre starts folding in turns and your rim starts finding every rock. Find the lowest pressure your tyre will hold its shape at, then stop.

Myth 4 says steep stuff means hanging off the back. Get too far back and you take the weight off your front wheel, which is the wheel you steer and brake with. Stay low, stay balanced, and keep some weight on the front.

Be honest in the comments. Which one did you believe? 🤙

that’s a rap to the 2026 race season missed a couple of races due to being on holiday but my results have improved a lot this year. thanks to paul and monica @rubbersidedownglobal for continually supporting me over the last 3 or so years.

You tell us the trick. We teach it in 60 seconds.

New series, Teach Me That. Comment the 1 skill on the bike you have always wanted to learn. Manual, bunny hop, track stand, getting your wheels off the ground on a jump, cornering without braking first. Whatever it is.

The comment with the most likes wins. We go out with the crew, film a 60 second tutorial on exactly how to do it, and tag you in the video so everyone knows who asked.

Like the ones you want to see, and tag the mate who needs to learn something. We will teach anything we can teach safely. 🤙
