BOOK REVIEW — Not A Family Man by @inkedbychaitali Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 What a heartwarming, feel-good romance! Samrat and Rosaline have both spent years building walls around themselves, and watching them slowly find a home in each other was so lovely. It starts with a very unconventional business arrangement, a white lie and 3 months of forced proximity at Casa Rosa in Goa. What begins as a practical solution slowly turns into something neither of them expected. I loved the fake partnership premise — it's not just insta-love, it's about two people learning to make space for each other. Rosaline was a total standout for me. Kind-hearted, fiercely self-reliant, headstrong and so protective of her home. She takes her time letting people in and I loved how she held her ground. Samrat with his emotional baggage makes their journey towards trust and vulnerability so much more meaningful. And the Goa setting! Casa Rosa adds such a cosy, charming vibe that makes you want to pack your bags for Goa instantly. Slow-burn chemistry, tender moments and that homestay warmth — a delightful read. Thank you @inkbychaitali for this beautiful story and @storyshine_pr for the book. Book Review: Insidious: Echoes of Dystopia by @muskanshahbaz_mk Rating ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Insidious by Muskan Shahbaz is a haunting collection of poetry that takes readers into the darker corners of the human mind. Exploring psychological depth, unsettling emotions, inner conflicts, and the shadows that often remain hidden beneath the surface, the book offers an intense and thought-provoking reading experience. What makes Insidious intriguing is its exploration of darkness not merely as something frightening, but as something deeply psychological. The poems seem to delve into the complexities of human thoughts, suppressed emotions, fears, and the unsettling realities of the mind. There is a certain eeriness in the themes that makes readers pause and reflect, even after finishing a poem. BOOK REVIEW — When I Became My Father’s Mother by @pomitaghoshal This is not a book you just read and move on from. It’s a book you sit with. Pomita Ghoshal writes about something so many of us are scared to even think about — what happens when the parent who once held your hand starts needing you to hold theirs. As her father’s memory begins to fade with dementia, their whole world quietly shifts. She is no longer just the daughter. She becomes the caregiver, the decision-maker, the comfort, the home. And she writes about it with such raw honesty — the love, the guilt, the tiredness, the helplessness, and still, the choice to stay. What touched me the most was how she never tries to make caregiving look perfect. Some days are tender and full of love. Some days are just hard. And that truth is what makes this book so powerful. It made me think about my own parents, about time, about how love doesn’t disappear even when memories do. It just changes its form. If you have ever loved someone deeply, or taken care of someone, this book will stay in your heart for a very long time. Some stories don’t just make you cry, they make you love a little more carefully. This is one of them. 🕊️📖 (When I became my father's mother, Pomita Ghoshal, Book recommendations, review, explore, fypppppppppppppppppppppppp, explore page, Ruchika reads, Book recommendations, wattpad) #bookrecommendations #indie author #bookreview #fyppppppppppppp #explore by @ruchika_205m
📚❤️ BOOK REVIEW — Unknown Yearning for Love by @authorvins ✨ A Witness to the Purest Love and emotional story that explores love, sacrifice, family expectations, and the challenges life places in our way. Through Chandu and Tara’s journey, the author tries to show how love can be tested by circumstances, responsibilities, and difficult choices. 💕 🌸 What makes this story interesting is its heartfelt premise and its attempt to portray love as something deeper than just romantic feelings. The characters face struggles that make their journey emotional, and the story touches on themes that many readers may find relatable. 📝 While the story has emotional potential, the writing could be more polished. 💭 My final thoughts: This book has a sincere message and an interesting idea at its heart. The author's effort to portray love, loyalty, and sacrifice is evident. It's a story with potential that may appeal to readers who enjoy emotional romance and dramatic journeys. BOOK REVIEW — Dev & Diya by @sunjeevbhatia Rating ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Some books you finish and move on from. Dev & Diya is not one of them. It stays with you quietly, long after the last page. This is not a typical love story where everything falls into place. It's a story about two broken, beautiful people trying to find balance — in love, in life, and inside themselves. Dev and Diya are opposites in so many ways, yet that's exactly what makes their connection feel so real. What I loved most is how honestly the book talks about the parts of relationships we usually avoid — misunderstandings, ego, past wounds, letting go, and learning to heal instead of just holding on. It doesn't romanticise pain, it shows you how to grow through it. The writing is simple, heartfelt, and very easy to connect with. There were moments I had to pause, not because it was heavy, but because it felt true. Like the author had put into words something I had felt but never said out loud. If you like slow, emotional, character-driven stories that make you reflect on your own relationships — this one is for you. 📖 Book Review — The Bose Conspiracy by @saugatarbi Rating ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐.5 Some books you read for the story. Some you read because they make you question everything you thought you knew. This one is the second kind. We all grew up with one line in our history books — Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose died in a plane crash in 1945. This book doesn't accept that line as the end. It treats it as the beginning. What if he didn't die? What if the truth was deliberately hidden? What if one family carried that secret across generations without even knowing it? That is where this story lives. It follows a Bengali family across decades — not as heroes, but as ordinary people who get pulled into something far bigger than them. Love, loss, duty, betrayal, and the weight of a secret that refuses to die. That human side is what makes the thriller work. You care about the people, so you care about the mystery. The author takes you from the freedom struggle to secret operations, from cold prison cells in Russia to the rivers of the Northeast and the quiet, dangerous valleys of Kashmir. The timelines keep shifting, but it never feels confusing. It feels like pieces of a puzzle slowly coming together. What I loved most: - It reads like a thriller, but feels like history - The research is there, but it never lectures you - Every chapter leaves you with one more question By the last page, I wasn't just thinking about Netaji. I was thinking about how history is written — who writes it, who hides it, and how many truths we will never fully know. If you like historical mysteries, espionage, and stories that stay with you long after you finish them, this one deserves a place on your shelf. Have you read it? Do you believe Netaji survived 1945? #TheBoseConspiracy #SaugataChakraborty #BookReview #HistoricalFiction #bookrecs by @ruchika_205m
BOOK REVIEW — The First Love Story: Dakshayani by @author_shubhankar Rating ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ We all know the story of Shiva and Sati. We've heard it in temples, in stories from our family, in shows. But reading it like this — slowly, from Dakshayani's heart — felt completely different. What I loved the most was that this is not just a love story. It's a story about choosing someone with your whole soul. Dakshayani didn't love Shiva because He was powerful. She loved Him because her heart already knew Him. That kind of love — pure, stubborn, fearless — I have never read it like this before. There were pages where I had to stop and just sit quietly. Especially the parts where she stands up for her love in front of everyone, and where Shiva waits, loves, and grieves in silence. It broke my heart in the most beautiful way. It didn't feel like mythology, it felt like real emotions we all feel — longing, faith, separation, and surrender. The writing is very easy and flowy. It's not heavy or difficult. Even if you don't usually read purana, you will understand everything. The author has kept the devotion alive, but written it in a way that today's readers can connect to. Thank you so much to the author for trusting me with this story. 📚BOOK REVIEW — Madiya by Abhisheik Sharma @madiya_novel Rating ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Some books surprise you, some leave you speechless, and some completely change the way you look at a story. Madiya was one such experience for me! What truly blew my mind about this book was its essence of realism. There's something so intriguing about a psychological thriller that feels real enough to make you pause and think. The storyline is genuinely impressive, and the way the narrative draws you into its world makes the reading experience all the more worthwhile. One of the things I appreciate most in a book is its ability to hold my attention while leaving a lasting impression, and Madiya did exactly that. It's not just about reading a story; it's about experiencing it, getting absorbed in its world, and finding yourself thinking about it even after you've turned the last page. Abhisheik Sharma deserves appreciation for the storytelling. The story felt engaging, the overall experience was memorable, and the realistic essence added something special to the narrative. It's the kind of read that reminds you why psychological thrillers are so fascinating in the first place. What makes a thriller truly unforgettable is not just the suspense it creates, but how deeply its story resonates with you. And that's what made Madiya such a remarkable read for me. ✨ A compelling story, an incredible reading experience, and a book that genuinely blew my mind. 🖤 Vibe 🪓⛰️🏚️🧔🏻 (Madiya, Psychological thriller, book review, bookstagram, book recs, fypppppppppppppppppppppppp, explore, thriller books, indie author, recommendations) #madiya #bookrecs #madiyabyabhisheiksharma #explore #bookstagram by @ruchika_205m
