ANOTHER ONE FOR THE BOOKS.

The Second Edition of The Delta Broadcast Media Conference held on 14th August 2026 at Unity Hall Government House Asaba was all shades of “Excellent Perfection” and a step forward towards the development of mainstream media in Delta state.

DBMC2026 had Media practitioners / professionals from all around Delta state gathered in earnest desire, with the theme “The Broadcast Media as a democratic catalyst; shaping public trust and electoral credibility”

Guest Speaker @agathamata1 spoke on the Power of the microphone as a broadcast journalist, and how to use that power.

Key government agencies like @inecnigeria , @nbcgovng , @noa_nigeria were on ground to deliver their goodwill messages to Delta broadcasters as we approach the 2027 general elections.

One major highlight of the event was the presentation of awards to deserving broadcasters in Delta state in appreciation of their work on radio and television, as @samuelfejokwu was given a lifetime achievement award in broadcast media.

A special appreciation goes to His Excellency @sheriffoborevwori the executive governor of Delta state for the opportunity to organize DBMC2026 which aims to build the capacity of mainstream media practitioners in Delta state, and rightly position Delta as the bastion of media excellence in Nigeria.
