A @chimarathon moment: I ran into @coachbennett at Mile 22 and he gave me a good pep talk. I was already over this race and needed a few words of encouragement and he reminded that I was a badass…even though I didn’t feel like at the time and that the real win was getting to the start line and fulfilling my goal of becoming a Chicago Marathon Legacy Finisher! ✨ Thank you Coach Bennett! 😭

Running is a gift and a privilege that has changed my life in so many ways. I never would have imagined when I started my journey to become healthier that I would find a community of people so passionate about testing their limits physically. Since joining GumboFit, I found a home of like-minded people that encourage me to be the best version of myself, with confidence and joy. Running has allowed me to see how far my body can go and to overcome what I initially thought was impossible.

This year, I am training for my third Chicago Marathon. I can’t wait to run through the cheer zones, soak in the experiences of each neighborhood the route goes through and to see crowds of people line the streets of Chicago! Find out everything you need to know to make your marathon-viewing experience amazing at my link in bio. See you out there! @nikechicago @iamwellandgood

365: No Days Off

To reach 365 consecutive runs was not easy…it took heart, determination and grit to remain consistent to reach this goal. This run streak started as a way to change my mindset about turning 40 and to celebrate my birthday in a positive manner. To share this milestone with my family, friends and the running community meant the world to me. I am humbled by the impact my run streak has had on so many people and to know that I have inspired people in the community to start their own running journey brings me so much joy.

I am overwhelmed with gratitude by the support I received from the community. I cannot say thank you enough to everyone who shared miles, smiles and words of encouragement throughout the year. Thank you to everyone that made my 365th run streak day so special. My heart is full ❣️.

Special thanks to @l_hommedejus (Juice) for putting this project together! 🙌🏾🔥

Chicago Marathon 2026: Just for fun! 😎

This training cycle was hard, and for the first time I didn’t do a 20-mile training run. My easy runs felt really hard so I gave myself permission to stop believing marathon no. 10 had to look a certain way or be better than the last one.

I came into race day with a completely different mindset: no pressure, no chasing a time, and nothing to prove! Just enjoy the city, stop when I wanted to stop, dance when I wanted to dance, and let the day be what it was going to be. And honestly, that shift meant everything.

I crossed the finish line feeling grateful instead of disappointed, proud instead of picking apart what I could have done differently.

Getting to the start line was something to be proud of! Getting to the finish line was too!

Ten marathons later, I’m learning that sometimes success is simply giving yourself permission to experience the moment you worked so hard to reach.

Mission accomplished. Cheers to No. 🔟🥹🏅

Always for the #CampbellCrew! 🥹

Marathon training asks a lot from me, but as a mom, it also asks a lot from my family.

There are early-morning long runs when I’m not home for breakfast, late nights spent planning the week, and figuring out how to squeeze in the miles without missing swim practice, math club, gymnastics, school events, and everything else that matters.

Thank you to my family for the sacrifices, the support, and for giving me the space to keep chasing something that means so much to me.

Running began as part of my journey to get healthy, but over time it became something bigger. I hope my children see what it looks like to keep going when things are hard, to come back from setbacks, and to choose perseverance and resilience again and again.

The medals are special and the miles matter, but what I hope they remember most is the example.

That’s the legacy I want to leave. Cheers to @chimarathon No. 6️⃣.

Chicago Marathon 2026: All vibes! 🕶️

I did exactly what I was supposed to do, lace up and have a good mf’ing time!

I was surprisingly calm going into race day. No nerves, no tears this year, and honestly I was hyped before I even left the house. That alone felt different.

I’ve been dealing with a hamstring issue that made training less than ideal, but I decided to run the marathon anyway knowing I wouldn’t be at full capacity. My Care Bears 🐻 encouraged me to use this race to enjoy myself, and that’s exactly what I did.

I ran for as long as my legs wanted to keep going, stopped for Nerds, pickles, Bomb Pops and ice, danced my way through Mile 16 with @peace_runners773, ran into @coachbennett again at Mile 22, and turned up with my crew @onthe9runcrew at Mile 23. 😂🔥

I had nothing to prove. This was my 6th Chicago Marathon and 10th marathon overall. On a very hot day, I felt good running in @adidasus & @adidasrunning and, for once, it was nice to let loose and enjoy the experience instead of putting pressure on myself to chase a certain time.

I don’t take any of this for granted. Now it’s time to rehab this hamstring, recover, and come back stronger.

Cheers to marathon no. 🔟 and Happy Medal Monday! 🏅✨

A million different emotions going into this marathon but none of them feel familiar as years before.

For the first time, I’m honestly not nervous and not because I think this will be easy but I’m just happy I made it to the start line of my 10 overall marathon and my 6th @chimarathon.

Grateful to represent in @adidasus & @adidasrunning this year. See you at the start line! LFG 😮‍💨🤜🏾✨

Ran into @coachbennett last night at the @heartbreak.chi Honors event, and he had a follow up message for me following our marathon moment from Mile 22 last year. We’ve come full circle!

Thank you Coach Bennett for encouraging me and so many other runners to lace up and go for their first run, their next run or just getting to the start line. You’re the best! 🥹🫶🏾😭
