Happy Global Running Day! 🏃‍♀️🎊

For the longest time, I have been a 7:00/km girl, comfortable, safe, and familiar territory. But a friend helped me realized it and one evening, I decided to challenge myself and see what 6:00/km would feel like.

I went out for a casual 5K and unexpectedly met a run club. Curious, I asked their pace “6:00/km.” 🤷🏻‍♀️
I smiled and thought, why not? If it’s not faster than 6, I’ll try. What happened next surprised me.

Normally, once my heart rate climbs, I slow down and return to my comfort zone. But this time, I stayed. I focused, pushed through the discomfort, and trusted my body.

3km in… still holding 6:00/km.
4km in… still there.
Before I knew it, I had finished the run and smashed multiple personal records in a single session.

That run reminded me that sometimes the limits we believe in are just comfort zones we’ve outgrown.
Running keeps showing me what I’m capable of when I choose to believe in myself a little more.

Cheers 🥂 to every runner breaking barriers and discovering new strength one step at a time.

More PRs coming. Just watch. 💪🏽🏅

From January to March, I took on the AIR Virtual Challenge with @myracetimeapp and covered 92.40% of the 375km goal. 💪🏽🏃‍♀️

A rewarding journey, with every kilometer counting. And this beautiful medal is the perfect reminder of it all. ❤❤❤❤🏅 by @runwithremmy
