💿✨ 27 YEARS AGO TODAY… WHERE IT ALL BEGAN! ❤️💚

On 25th October 1999, SCOOCH released our very first single, When My Baby… and what a journey it started!

Written by legendary hitmakers Mike Stock and Matt Aitken, the names behind some of the biggest pop hits of the 80s and 90s, alongside Steve Crosby, our debut single entered the UK Top 30, peaking at No. 29! 🎶

From CD singles and cassette tapes to appearances on SM:TV, Live & Kicking and The Box, it was the beginning of something rather special.

Four consecutive UK Top 30 singles followed, including a Top 5 hit with More Than I Needed to Know, and a few years later we’d find ourselves representing the UK at Eurovision! 🇬🇧

But it all started here. Four of us, a catchy little pop song, some very colourful outfits and absolutely no idea what adventures lay ahead!

27 years later, the memories, the friendships and the music are still very much part of our lives. And that’s something worth celebrating. ❤️

So here’s a little trip back to 1999…

Who remembers When My Baby the first time around? 👀

Happy Birthday Boss @theofficialsting by @russspenceruk

Voor nu nog één dag The Last Ship in Carré.

❤️💙🤍 Happy 19th Anniversary Flying the Flag!

🇬🇧 19 years ago today, we released Flying The Flag (For You) as the UK’s Eurovision 2007 entry!

✈️ What started as a little pop song turned into memories, laughter and a connection with people we’re still grateful for nearly two decades later.

Thank you for still flying with us after all this time ❤️

👀 Oh, and next year… 20 YEARS OF FLYING THE FLAG - anniversary remix , anyone?
