Earlier I checked the tracking information on the Ocarina of Time game and saw it was arriving today!!! And then I waited!! It's here and it's beautiful!!!! #legendofzelda #legendofzeldacollection #legendofzeldaocarinaoftime #legendofzeldaocarinaoftimeremake by @ruthiej5
One day, I'll showcase some of my collection (I really want to "decorate" the wall), but for now, I wanted to show off my latest addition. Most of the items in my collection are housed in some kind of case, mainly to keep it free from dust and easy to clean. Some cases are acrylic boxes. The acrylic case for my Legend of Zelda edition Switch 2 arrived today! I ordered this one from Etsy by @luna_fabrication It wasn't a standard box but one that snapped on together around the box. It was pretty easy to set up and the pieces are held together snuggly. This beauty is back on the top shelf for now ๐Ÿฅฐ #legendofzelda ##legendofzeldacollection #legendofzeldaswitch2 #protectyourstuff #acryliccase by @ruthiej5
Finally here! Please excuse the glare! One thing I do is protect as much of my collection as I can from dust! #legendofzelda #legendofzeldaswitch2 by @ruthiej5

When you cosplay and your kid wants an awesome one for him. He asked me to make him a Miraidon outfit. ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ I admit, I'd like it to look a bit more rounded but I lack some of the equipment right now. Rough sketch that was transferred to EVA Foam I've had rolled up for over a year. Its currently being weighed down to flatten. I dont have figured out how he'll wear this while also be able to see. I hope and plan I can glue it together on Wednesday. Wish me luck! I have minimal experience with EVA Foam (I prefer to sew my stuff). This could be the beginning of a new cosplay adventure! #kidcosplay #pokemoncostume #miraidon #miraidoncostume #miraidoncosplay by @ruthiej5

Back home with the kiddos ๐Ÿฅฐ A few of our favorite pictures from NYCC! Kids really liked the Bowser outfit! I think they'd an outfit that will get used a few more times soon! by @ruthiej5
With my Mario! Matt got called "Dapper Mario", "Gangsta Mario" and #Fine @** Mario" ๐Ÿคฃ by @ruthiej5
Another look at the cosplay. Matt has some of the 2 of us. ๐Ÿฅฐ I am pretty proud of this one. I envisioned this look years ago and finally put it together. I still have other cosplay "ideas" that reside in my head until I figure out how to make it a reality. NYCC was massive! Bigger than last year and it was huge then! Its time to hydrate, sit, eat and rest some so we can come back tomorrow. Kiddos are having a fun time with Nana and Papa! #nycc2026 #nycc #newyorkcomiccon #boswer ##bowsercosplay by @ruthiej5

Headed over there now!!! Dont have the whole ensemble on yet because of its size but will post soon!! #nycc2026 #nycc #cosplay #boswer #bowsercosplay by @ruthiej5
