Correct me if I’m wrong… 🤔 I’ve been thinking about monogamy lately and how we’ve been conditioned to associate it with love, loyalty, and commitment. But here’s my question: Is monogamy always about love, or can it sometimes be more about control? Not necessarily controlling another person, but controlling our own emotions, insecurities, jealousy, and discomfort with the idea of someone we love experiencing something outside of us. And don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying monogamy is bad or that it doesn’t work. I know there are people who genuinely choose it and find fulfillment in it. But I’m curious about why we choose it. Is it because it’s what we truly desire, or because we’ve been taught that exclusivity is the ultimate expression of love? Can love exist without exclusivity? And does exclusivity actually make love stronger? I’m genuinely interested in hearing different perspectives, especially from people who believe in monogamy. Why do you practice it? What makes it meaningful to you? And what do you believe it offers that other relationship structures don’t? Correct me if I’m wrong. Let’s talk about it in the comments. 👇🏾 #CorrectMeIfImWrong #Monogamy #Relationships #LoveAndRelationships by @ryanbdrake

Well some shit happened! Initially I was hired to shoot BTS for Madonna's 2026 VMA performance, but that quickly transformed into me shooting the opening of the actual awards show! Never in my wildest dreams would I think I'd be shooting my favorite awards show. I can't tell you the amount of time I spent rewatching performances to learn choreography or mimic vocal performance. Little Ryan would be so proud of me right now. Here's to constantly learning and believing that you can do whatever it is that YOU want to do. I DARE YOU! Not as a challenge for me, but as one for yourself. Social media has us all second guessing, scrolling past our own spark, shrinking to fit whatever looks safe. But real life isn’t safe. It’s movement, risk, joy. As long as you’re not hurting anyone, DO THE THING! Be loud, be messy, be joyous. Be YOU, do it, LITERALLY! So if this resonates, post a story dancing to “Do It” by Kaytranada and tag me. Let’s make bold moves contagious. #IDAREYOU #DOIT #KAYTRANADA by @ryanbdrake
Draped in pink, I’ve realized this glow isn’t about waiting. It’s about me showing up for myself. Self-love ain’t just a phrase for me now. You know, it’s energy, it’s boundaries, it’s softness. And in that energy, I’m open. Open to a love that’s honest, deep, and aligned. A love that sees me not as a gap to fill, but as a whole world to meet. Here’s to calling in what recognizes my frequency. No chasing, no shrinking, just magnetism. And finally, I wanna know, ARE YOU LOVING ON YOURSELF THE WAY THAT YOU SHOULD? by @ryanbdrake

CONFESSIONS II OUT NOW! This is such a full circle moment for me! Quick story, I asked my good friend @akirawoodgrain and his amazing partner in crime @ninautashiro to listen to the album when it dropped and see if they could come up with a dope remix to use in my edit of last night's events. In true form, they showed up and SHOWED OUT!!! I too had to do a little 1, 2, in reworking the intro to give a bit of DRAMATICS! Thank y'all for stepping up to the plate and knocking it out of the park. Who knows... It might end up becoming an official remix! 😉🤭 by @ryanbdrake
When I was 19, I left Mississippi because I knew there had to be more. I didn’t have it all figured out. Honestly, I didn’t even know dreams could be real. But I knew I wanted to live bigger. I was that kid watching music videos, trying choreography, imagining a life beyond what I saw around me. I just needed to start. A defining moment was a trip to New York, where someone saw my potential and opened a door of opportunity. Brian Farina, you changed my life when you told me to quit that job and gave me a shot. I took the leap and that leap became my path. I’ll always be grateful for that faith. What I’ve learned is that showing up as myself and making people feel seen, that’s my real success. I’m emotional, I’m caring, and I’ve realized that lifting others brings me joy and sometimes brings me to tears. That’s why I do what I do. So this Pride, I celebrate the spaces that pushed me to think bigger and dream bigger, past the sky’s limit and the social noise, because the universe is truly limitless. The people, the conversations, they’ve shaped me. I’m still climbing, but now I know I’m exactly who I’m supposed to be. And that’s something worth sharing. P.S. No filter or retouching was used on these. RUN TELL THAT!!! 🤣🤣🤣 #happypride by @ryanbdrake
It's been a while since I've released music, so while the adrenaline is pumpin, I thought I'd give you a little something to move to. 😜 To hear it in its entirety, check it the link in my bio. #beyoncé #Buckin #YoungWhitney by @ryanbdrake
IF ITS YA BIRTHDAY, MAKE SOME NOISE!!! I'm 39 today and every step of this journey has been a lesson, a blessing, or both. I’m deeply grateful for every soul who’s poured into me, those who’ve guided me, challenged me, and shown me another way to see life. Another year is never promised, but today, I’m above ground, grateful, and aiming for more growth, clarity, love, and success. Here’s to another chapter. #birthdaygirl 😂😜🤣 by @ryanbdrake
This is a first for me! Seeing my work on 46 billboards right in the heart of Times Square. It’s AI-generated, it’s bold, and it’s my first time taking over a scale like this. Grateful to be part of Gucci’s show, turning New York into a canvas of “GucciCore. #gucci #ai #vfxartist by @ryanbdrake
