Today I was one over emotional being! *** go read my husband's post 😜

God has truly blessed us with the life we lead. The light that shines from our kids is a testament of our commitment, friendship,prayer, partnership and love.

Every year we learnt a little bit more,
Every year we grew,
Every year we chose each other,
To every season we have had to face and probably still going to face... I cant picture this world doing it with anyone else.

You are my husband, body guard, safety net, dancing partner, punching bag, safe place and best friend in every minute. Thank you for putting up with my craziness.
You are just everything!

To My Wife, My Queen, My Crown ❤️

Today marks 12 years of marriage.

That’s 144 months, 4,383 days, 105,192 hours, and about 6.3 million minutes of you putting up with my shit.

Honestly… if patience was an sport, you’d have a lifetime
supply of gold medals.

For 14 years you’ve lived with a man who’s grumpy before coffee, leaves cupboards open, insists he’s “not asleep” while snoring, thinks he’s 25, fights like he’s 18, wakes up like he’s 90, and swears his clothes are shrinking while he’s definitely not getting smaller.

And yet… every morning, you still choose me.

I don’t know if that’s love… or just long-term commitment at this point.

But somewhere in all the chaos, we’ve built something incredible.

We’ve laughed until we couldn’t breathe, gone on adventures we’ll talk about forever, and made memories no one can take from us.

We’ve also walked through storms I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

There were times I felt lost… didn’t recognise myself… times I wanted to give up and had nothing left.

But you never gave up on me.

When I couldn’t stand, you carried me. When I doubted myself, you believed for both of us.
When I forgot my worth, you reminded me.

You never stood behind me—you stood beside me.

Through every win, every failure, every dream, every tear… you’ve been my constant.

You are my peace when the world is loud, my calm in chaos, my home no matter where we are.

I don’t say it enough, but thank you.

Thank you for the sacrifices no one sees. Thank you for the hugs I didn’t ask for but needed.
Thank you for loving every broken part of me. And most of all… thank you for choosing me.

Not just on our wedding day, but every single day since.

If I had one wish, it wouldn’t be anything material.

It would be that when we’re old and grey—well… greyer in my case—I’m still holding your hand, still annoying you, still loving you.

Because if I could live this life again…
I’d still choose you.
Every time.

Happy 12th Anniversary, my beautiful wife.

During a double tour our family decided to adopt puppies. 6month Saluki Greyhounds embodying mini horses.

Was it my idea? NO
Was it the rest of the family? YES
Are they cute? YES
Do they annoy me? YES
Do I threaten my kids that I will send them back? YES
Do they eat everything? YES
Do we have 4 beds but chill in none? YES
Do Zoe & Zena think they own the house? YES
Do we need a fund for new furniture? PLEASE

Wow, what a ride! The 2025 Dreaming Out Loud Tour was probably the BEST year we’ve ever had—like a family reunion where everyone actually likes each other!

First, let’s talk about Frank and Adrian from Neon Dreams. Working with you two has been a blast—like trying to contain a bunch of hyperactive kittens on a sugar high. I’ve seen almost every show you’ve done in South Africa, and I can confidently say it’s never been boring. I mean, who knew you could turn sound into a rollercoaster ride?

Then there’s Booshle G. Seriously, everyone knows I’m his #1 fan. I’m basically his unofficial hype squad. If he ever gets a reality show, I’m ready to be the dramatic friend who shows up with snacks and unsolicited advice.

And Zach, with those drumming skills? You’re basically the human metronome we never knew we needed. You could keep a marching band in line!

Now, let’s talk about the legends: Ross and Ray. Watching you two on stage is like seeing a pair of majestic unicorns prancing around—just magical. And Tatum, our Disney princess, your smile is so bright I’m convinced you’re powered by fairy dust. I half-expect you to break into song about talking animals at any moment!

A big shoutout to Briers, Scott, and Keanan (Martin). You guys are the most dependable, hardworking bunch I’ve ever met. Seriously, if we were in a zombie apocalypse, I’d want you three by my side—mostly because I’d probably need someone to carry me when I inevitably trip over my own feet.

Lastly, Majozi and Jude, you added that sparkle that made this tour shine like a glitter bomb exploded. People have no idea how much effort goes into these shows, but thanks to all you amazing, beautiful, humble people, it’s totally worth it.

Thank you so much for being the best mom ever! You are like a superhero, but instead of a cape, you wear all dads oversized addidas tops.(so cool)

Thanks for helping me with my homework and not laughing too much when I mix up my math problems (who knew 2 + 2 could be so tricky). You always cheer the loudest at my drama and poetry recitals, even when I forget my lines and just make up a funny dance instead!

Ayva asked me to say, "Thank you for taking me to swimming and gymnastics!" She thinks you should get a medal for surviving all those splashes and cartwheels. Seriously, you deserve a trophy!

I also appreciate you for taking me to chess tournaments. Even though it takes forever, I love having you there, keeping me company. We are so grateful for you always being there for us. You make everything better with your hugs and yummy snacks.

We love you to the moon and back (and that’s a lot of love!).
