Father, if I may make an objection,
I found myself with the temptation
to view only my imperfection
so give my glasses a new prescription
to stare at your affection.
The work of your hand is perfection,
and there are so many lessons
to learn from your creation.
Your beauty is like an infection.
I see it in every direction
even when out of my perception
like the stars and they’re constellation,
your beauty is my fascination
the sparkles of the water is reflection.
Please give me the addiction
for constant recollection.
And keep me in connection
with your resurrection
through the perfection.
I find in your creation. by @ryanjrep

Focusing on the details allows yourself to be touched by life by @ryanjrep

They say to build a garden
A place for the butterflies to come
Improve yourself prune yourself
Don’t chase the distractions
Just let the blessing come

I believe that there is wisdom to that…

But what happened to chasing whimsy?
Following the butterfly and seeing where it goes?
Wandering without direction?

Seek the beauty
Chase the whim

Dear Sophomore year,

Thank you. From you I learned to look little. I’m stubborn, but you put me on my butt and taught me to see the beauty in stillness. You came with strangers that became friends and friend that became brothers. Thank you for slowing me down.

All credit to the Lord,
Psalm 147 by @ryanjrep

When life sits you down
No need to frown
Sit down, look around

Without leaping out bounding
Slow down and check your surroundings
You might find something astounding

When the slow lane makes you a recruit
Take advantage of your roots
Even when life puts you in a boot

Look at the man in the mirror
Stop and stare
See the beauty through the lens of the maker ✝️

The Lord says, it is well with my soul and O beloved, if God declares that all is well, ten thousand devils may declare it to be ill, but we may laugh them all… because HE said it is well, so it is well 🙏 by @ryanjrep

God is good and life isn’t always as it seems on instagram, trust God in all circumstances and let him work through your imperfections.
