In awe of how time and time again God meets me in my pain. In the lies. In the heartache. In the fears. In the bitterness and anger. In my shattered dust. How beautiful is it that we get to sit with our Father and surrender and entrust everything to Him.

It is in these moments, the unseen ones with the Father that truly wreck me over and over again. Thank You Jesus for inviting me to Your throne room.

“God is not the author of your pain. God is the author of your healing” - Noah Reagan

2 Corinthians 12:9-10
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.“

Hebrews 4:16
”Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.“

HEY GUYS!!! Here is the long awaited Peru post! It’s been almost a month since getting back from my mission trip! My team & I got to share the Gospel with the people of Peru! We went and stayed in villages of unreached people groups, learned about their culture and helped them harvest potatoes, passed out food for them, visited the village schools, evangelized in the city of Cusco, went to boys & girls orphanages and shared testimonies and stories from the Bible with them, & more!

Some trip highlights!!!! 🤸‍♀️🪩🫶🏼
1. I think my most favorite moment from the trip was when we went to the boys orphanage! I had brought with me an old bracelet that I used to wear all the time that said “child of God” with the intention to give it to whoever I thought the Lord wanted me to. There was this little boy there that was learning to speak/read English. He noticed my bracelet right away and instantly began trying to read it. I asked our translator Walter to help me tell him what it said in Spanish! Then once the little boy learned what it said in English and Spanish I ended up giving him my bracelet and told him to remember these words in his mind and heart. & he ended up going around the orphanage telling all the boys what his new bracelet said!
2. Evangelizing with Tori and Sophie!! This was one of the coolest days! Another story - one night before we all went back to the hostel to play a game of mafia Tori and I went out looking for coffee but stumbled across a chocolate shop that had hot cocoa & we were like let’s do hot cocoa instead!!! We ended up meeting such a sweet lady and her daughter! The next day we broke up into groups to go and evangelize! Tori, Sophie, and I were together! We decided to go back to the chocolate shop but the ladies were not there :( BUT we ended up meeting a guy named Bryan & got to share the Gospel with him and he accepted Christ into his heart!!! It was so cool to walk around the city of Cusco with Tori and Sophie and to step out of our comfort zones and share the gospel with people! & to see the Lord work through us! by @ryleekgreen

This photo has been my phone wallpaper since February. Each time I’ve looked at my phone since, I am reminded that His arms are open wide for me. That I’m His daughter & that He delights in me.

Recently, I found this song - word for word it explains how I’ve felt for months. I’ve pictured myself running into His arms a thousand times and each time His arms are open so wide. I picture a girl, laying everything down, placing every circumstance and thought into His hands, the good & the hard. The mountaintops & valleys. Shame, guilt, joy, gratitude, praise, all of it. & each time His embrace is so sweet. His forgiveness and grace freely given.

His love is so real you guys. He meets you in your lowest lows & highest highs. His arms are open wide. His embrace is safe, your refuge. He sees your heart. He knows you. He chooses you. His love is everlasting. Run back to Him.

Something I’ve learned is that my mess is a message of Gods goodness. Not a mistake. I’ve learned to see His goodness through my tears. I’ve learned that my tears are a sign that He is near, not that He has left. Run to Him.

“You want to meet with me right here
No matter my shame you see my heart in every tear
Your love is great, your love is kind
Father your arms are open wide

I’m coming back to my first love
To the one who knows me, the one who chose me
I’m coming back to my first love
To the one who shows me everlasting love

You called me out of my old ways
You set me free you broke my chains
What once was dead is now alive
You give me resurrection life

I’m coming back to my first love
To the one who knows me, the one who chose me
I’m coming back to my first love
To the one who shows me everlasting love

I’m running, I’m running, I’m running back to you
I’m running, I’m running, I’m running back to you
I’m running, I’m running, I’m running back to you
I’m running, I’m running, I’m running back to you

I’m coming back to my first love
To the one who knows me, the one who chose me
I’m coming back to my first love
To the one who shows me everlasting love
Oh to the one who knows me, the one who chose me
I’m coming back to my first love
To the one who shows me everlasting love” by @ryleekgreen
