I’ve been a little flabbergasted by all the attention our last video with Celtique got, but luckily he’s so kind that he wanted to share his daily yoga routine with me, to help regulate my nervous system amid all the excitement.

I think he guides a really good yoga flows

Celtique had his own ideas and stole the show 🤸🏼😝

This horse… the excitement might be obvious on my face.

It’s not even about the tricks. It’s about the connection, communication and trust.

I trust this horse with my full heart, and he opens his to me.

We’ve been working on liberty basics lately: presence, nervous system regulation, connection and communication. Purely because of that work, I feel safe getting on him without any tack and having fun together. In the end, he surprised me by taking my cue to lie down.

I’m continually amazed by this way of connecting and working with horses. It feels purely magical when you’re in such a trusting connection. Everything becomes possible.

In November I’m hosting a demo clinic. Would you like to join? Comment ♥️ on this reel and I’ll send you more info ☺️

Recap on training in Finland 🇫🇮🐴

Obviously, I didn’t take any photos of the training. Besides that, I had so much fun meeting so many different horses and people, some familiar faces and some new.

Thank you @korpikylanhevoskeskus for having me over to host a demonstration clinic. And thank you to everyone who joined the training sessions with an open mind to learn and discover something new.

Liberty work, groundwork, riding in a rope halter, riding bareback and riding with a neck rope. We tried it all!

I’m so grateful that I get to share this way of working with horses with the world, and even better when I can go back to Finland and do it in Finnish. This is truly a dream come true.

See you next year in Finland, and let me know if you’d like me to come to your stables next time!

A little bit more about the release through touch.

When you try this with your horse I recommend not to yap like I do on the video so you can be more present with your horse 😁

Little bit about Valentino and how I work to release tension with touch.
Tension can be felt in their muscles but it goes deeper than that. With this exercise we are getting in contact with their body and nervous system.

As I am queen of yapping this is only a short clip what this exercise is about and there is so much to say.

Also the release isn’t only yarning and chewing. It’s also exhaling, shaking, softening.

My take on how I start with every horse.
To be more present with myself, with the horse and in the moment.

Staycay spam. Naps, horsey cuddles, some outdoor moments, chasing diamonds in the nature and more naps.

How funny it is to teach people and horses to be present in their bodies and stay with the feeling — and then forget to do that myself. by @saar4lysa

This horse 😍 Second day trying to see if he’d lay down while I’m on him. For some reason he makes it look so easy. I never get over how he somehow just reads my mind and understands the assignment
