We have some big news to share!

After six years as part of the @saber.games family, we're officially changing our name to Saber Serbia and Saber Bosnia and Herzegovina!

Nothing changes in how we work or what we care about. Mad Head Games is in our DNA, and that's here to stay. Same local teams, same culture, same relentless way of doing things - just under a sharper name.

Thanks for being with us through fifteen amazing MHG years. There's a lot more coming, and it starts with @hellraisergame - our first title under the new name, launching October 8th ⛓️

This year, our studio turned 15 🎂

It started in 2011 with four friends, a rented house and a hidden object game. Today, we’re a AAA studio with offices in Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Sarajevo, and teammates around the world. And we just released @hellraisergame - our first title based on an iconic franchise!

Nobody had a manual for that. We figured it out as we went: one game, one mistake, one big step at a time.

Now we’re telling that story through the people who lived it: the milestones that changed us, the lessons behind how we work, and the colleagues who helped along the way.

Here’s to the path behind us - and wherever we go next! ❤️‍🔥 by @saber.serbia

This year, our studio turned 15, so we’re looking back at the moments that shaped us, one milestone at a time.

Some games change how players see a studio. @scarsabove changed how we saw ourselves ❤️‍🔥

Here’s how @shumenjak, our Associate Game Director, remembers the change:

“Scars Above is a very special game for us. It marks the moment our studio finally completed its transformation from a casual and mobile games developer into a PC and console games creator.

For the first six months of development of Scars Above, half of the studio was still working on casual projects. By the end of the first year, every developer had been retrained for new roles, pipelines, software and approaches. It wasn’t an easy journey, but it was definitely worth it. The team grew bigger and stronger, and we finally started making the games we always wanted to make - together. By then, we knew we had learned a lot and were ready for new adventures.” by @saber.serbia

He promised sights. Rijeka got them! ⛓️

Our @vidrajin, Associate Game Director on @hellraisergame, shared behind-the-scenes stories from the making of the game with fans at @rikonrijeka.

Thank you to the organizers and everyone who came to listen. No souls were collected, as far as we know ⛓️ by @saber.serbia

Do not mistake her calmness for mercy. She has none to give. by @saber.serbia

As we mark 15 years as a studio, we'll be catching up with some of the people who helped build it.

First up: @dimitrije_c, our former Head of Audio, who takes us back to the early days: two rented houses in two cities, and what felt like a new era every year.

He was there as we went from Hidden Object games to Pagan: Absent Gods and Scars Above, and he grew right alongside us ❤️‍🔥 by @saber.serbia
