We got lucky! We were able to secure Saleam, a Portland-based artist, for our Otesha space. The artwork really beautifies the corner of Albert and 15th. Saleam has a couple murals along Alberta St. and a couple of other parts of the city. Can you spot all of Saleam's artworks around the city?

We'd also like to thank Regional Arts and Culture Council for making this happen and providing us with a lovely grant. Their support means we stay true to our values and are able to support our community in what they do. by @sabincdc_pdx

Big shoutout to Sumiya Coleman @sumiyaxl for the amazing design and for bringing this whole vision to life. We’re so grateful for the time, creativity, and love you put into it. As well as @pbotinfo who makes it easy and accessible for people to come together and add a little bit of art back into our neighborhoods.

And thank you to everyone who came out, picked up a brush, and helped us paint. This mural really came together because of the community. ❤️

We’re proud to have this piece right here in the neighborhood. Come by and check it out! 🎨 by @sabincdc_pdx
