🚵‍♂️ Bike Check — Trek Session 8 2025 🛠️ New season — new bike. Already racing on it — and I’m seriously loving this machine. The suspension feels insane: incredible grip, smooth landings on jumps, and fast rolling speed. Still fine-tuning the setup, adjusting it on the go between races, finding that sweet spot between stability and responsiveness. 🔹 Frame: Trek Session 8 2025 (adjustable progression 20/25%) 🔹 Fork: RockShox BoXXer Base 2025, 450 lb/in spring (sag ~21%) 🔹 Shock: Swapped stock Marzocchi Bomber (400 spring) for RockShox Vivid, also 400 spring (sag ~26%) 🔹 Wheels: Front — DT Swiss FR541 / Industry Nine Hydra      Rear — DT Swiss FR560 / CushCore front and rear 🔹 Tires: Maxxis Assegai front, Maxxis DHR2 rear      Pressure: ~1.70 bar front / ~1.75 bar rear 🔹 Brakes: SRAM Code RSC 🔹 Drivetrain: SRAM X01 DH (7-speed) 🔹 Cockpit: Renthal 35mm bar, Bontrager stem, Kona One Key grips, DMR pedals 📏 Weight: ~17 kg ⚙️ Running 20% progression for now — still testing what holds better in the rough. The bike’s feeling better every ride — confident in the corners, playful in the air, and fast on the pedals. Can’t wait to keep pushing it. 📸 Huge thanks to @_alexbowen for the sick photos! 🙌🔥 Let me know your thoughts on the setup / progression / suspension feel — always down to geek out on bike tech 🤘 #bikecheck #mtb #dhbike #treksession #session8 #downhillracing #mtbsetup #dhmtb #raceday #mtblife #bikelife #mtbcommunity #mtbphoto #riderslife #ridefast #mtbtech #fullsend by @sachenko_vladislav
One more spam photo from Whistler’s BC cup. Can’t wait to properly recover and get back for this🙂 📸 @eddiemuscroftphotography #BCCup #WhistlerBikePark #DownhillMTB #MTBRacing #WhistlerMTB by @sachenko_vladislav
Just right before my crash I have almost washed out from the corner😀That was so loose to ride well. Following @elliotpieters #DownhillMTB #CypressMountain #NorthShoreMTB #BCMTB #almostcrashed by @sachenko_vladislav
Got crashed almost couple of weeks ago and unfortunately got a mild concussion, so I am so sad to skip Dunbar series and I hope I can make it for nationals. Honestly, it’s still terrifying and painful me to watch that. So scary when you lose your front and the moment when you can’t do anything-that’s insane. #downhillmtb #crash #mtbfail #mountainbike #mountainbiking by @sachenko_vladislav
5th place at the Whistler BC Cup 🏁 @wbmtnevents Not exactly the result I was aiming for, but definitely a step forward. A few years ago I was much further back, and this weekend I managed to put together a solid run and finish in the top 5. Big thanks to everyone who helped trackside, shared lines, and pushed the pace during practice. Now it’s time to keep working and get ready for the next one. 👊 #downhillmtb #downhillracing #mtb #mountainbike #whistlerbikepark by @sachenko_vladislav
Love this video, so don’t want to keep it just in story, let’s post it there.😁 #CypressMountain #NorthShoreMTB #DownhillMTB #mtblife by @sachenko_vladislav
Trying new lines on Detroit rock city. Still feels sketchy, so have to dial it up! Surprisingly, after tension my wheels bike got way stiffer and definitely gives me more feedback and speed on tech stuff. #WhistlerBikePark #DetroitRockCity #DownhillMTB #RideFastTakeChances #mtbprogression by @sachenko_vladislav
This section of @whistlerbikeprk is so much fun to ride! It literally reminds me of @northshore.bmx track! #whistlerbikepark #whistlermtb #downhillmtb #mtb #sendit by @sachenko_vladislav

Today was one of those rides. Soaked to the bone, nonstop rain, dark trails. New damper feels insane. Way more control, way more confidence. #downhillmtb #seymourmountain #bcmtb #wetconditions #mtblife by @sachenko_vladislav
