taho matcha always 💚

cold-whisked matcha (3g matcha + 50 ml oat milk)
100 ml oat milk
boba (ran out of sago so used this instead)
brown sugar syrup
soft tofu (silken tofu is better though)

Classic matcha to jump-start my day before work 🍵 Currently in love with inori 🫶🏻

@mainstreetmatcha organic inori okumidori
@kireimi.charms chasen charm

Used my mini table today so it’s shaky but loved the natural lighting 🥹 gosh it just looks so much better. Just need to find a sturdier table next time.

honey butter cereal matcha~

Regular cream upsets my stomach so used silken tofu instead for the cream top (for protein too).

For the honey butter cereal, I used butter, honey, brown sugar and some salt for the coating.

And oh, a warning if you make the honey butter cereal at home, it is dangerously addictive as a snack (it reminds me of the turon wrapper a lot)😩

I think the cereal would pair well with hojicha as well.

Sept-Oct Sips Recap

New month, new matcha 🍵💚

Made a banana almond croissant latte and it was so satisfying!

4g kaede @wakokorotea
almond croissant syrup @sundaysteepco
bodega glass @crateandbarrelcanada which I brought from my recent trip.

Kaede has light nuttiness, with gentle sweetness and umami, low bitterness and astringency. Definitely my least favourite out of the 3 matchas I tried from Wakokoro. Sakuya and Yame no hana are better.

Not the nicest setup cos it was hard to film with one hand, but needed a caffeine boost mid flight 🥱✈️

see y’all in november! 👋🏻

Earl grey matcha for two 🍵 for me and Mom.

Been wanting to try sifter beads and I was so lucky to win this ‘To dream’ set thanks to @noammatcha’s comment/tag 🫶🏻🥹

Thanks to @shophabiyo & @lostingreenink for this giveaway. Love this set so much.

It was the perfect time to use the beads today cos I was kind of in a rush earlier 😆 I know it’s not a traditional tool for making matcha/hojicha but it’s something that adds a little extra fun to my rituals at home.

It’s not a replacement to my chashaku but I can see myself using this when I want to, cos why not? And besides one of the meanings behind this set is to do whatever you want to do in life.

7g yame no hana @wakokorotea

homemade earl grey syrup by @saemichaa

This combo is amazing 🤎🖤

4.5g hojicha @pluckteas
40ml water
black sesame syrup (black sesame powder, agave, warm water)
black sesame cloud (black sesame powder + silken tofu, a bit of oat milk)
120ml oat milk @silk_canada
black sesame seeds
floral chasen charm @charmed.chasen

I love using big ice cubes cos they melt slower and don’t dilute the flavours as quickly.

Sea Salt Maple Matcha kind of day

Love the relaxing background sounds from our fish tank 😆 so I didn’t add any audio this time.

3g @enjoyemeri roku
maple syrup
matcha salt
oat milk

It’s my first time making this, will definitely grind the sea salt better next time so the flakes are smaller haha.
