— I wish I wasn’t such a shy and anxious (and painfully British) human being because I would have been able to tell @thejennifersimard just how much I love and admire her as an actress and a person. That she makes me smile when I’m feeling low, but also inspires me to be a better performer and a better human.

The kindest and most patient human being and I’m so glad that she’s finally receiving all the love she’s been deserving for years. I’m so grateful she exists and so grateful for all the friends I have made because of her.

Thank you for sharing your talent and time with us and for being such a devastatingly gorgeous performer. Thank you, for always being the loveliest person, Jennifer. You are so loved and adored <3

— just a british girl who misses being able to see @thejennifersimard on a stage✨ by @saffydarlingx

— it’s been a whole week since death becomes her took it’s final bow and i’m genuinely so so sad about it 💜

the show that finally got me to broadway because i was not going to miss jennifer simard and megan hilty leading such a girl power musical. i did it. and then i flew back to new york city from london another three times since last august. i’ve seen so many cast combinations and have had some of my most favourite live theatre experiences because of this show.

the friends, the validation, the reignition for a love of performing, the visibility; there is so much to be grateful for. i don’t want to get too soppy, but i have loved musicals since i was small, and the only other musicals i have had such a deep special connection with are mary poppins and the sound of music. death becomes her has earned a special place in my heart as a girl in her late twenties in the same way that mary poppins and tsom did when i was six.

thank you @deathbecomesher for being my happy place. thank you @bwolfepack and @thejennifersimard and that gorgeously talented cast for bringing the joy and giving us the magic of live theatre. most importantly, thank you to all the wonderful WONDERFUL friends i have made because of this silly beautiful show about the spooky magic drink.

— last week, i turned 28 in new york city with a lush hotel room view of the empire state building, watching the sound of music (1965) curled up in my bed and then later a front row seat to watch @bwolfepack and @thejennifersimard in @deathbecomesher, before returning to said hotel room with a cinnamon bun with a shit tonne of vanilla frosting and fresh strawberries as a makeshift cake. i even got to see the always lovely @theroyalgaymess and @rexofsunshine <3 here’s a lil photo dump from my adventures. nyc, i miss you already 🗽✨. by @saffydarlingx
