WOW CANNOT BELIEVE I STAYED AWAKE 🤣🎉😵‍💫Went to an ACOSH midnight release party at Azalea Station thrown by Wilmington NC’s own romantasy bookstore, @burningpagesnc @burningpagesevents and It was magical! The bat boys were there, and I even won ACOTAR Bingo (much better at that then trivia) Look at the amazing swag bag shown at the end Great Night with great friends, the party and setup was amazing!! Thanks ladies, now off to sleep 😴 I mean read! 📖 #acoshmidnightrelease #acotar #romantasy #tropequeen #bookstagram by @saltwaterbutter
These are the things I carved out for myself this month when I’m not momming and wifing- this is my one life I’m gonna live it!! Because when my TBR is a mile long, might as well do a hard ass 🧩 puzzle, reading one of my book club books, which is really good and different, HARBINGER @genevaleebooks. Living at the beach and panicking because locals summer is almost over. Received an ARC from the cutest author ever @christinedrummondwrites “YOU FEEL LIKE CHRISTMAS”,she’s an excellent writer and I loved the excerpt of “Owl Kingdom”her I read so I’m very excited for this one- let’s read it in November and get in the Christmas 🎅🏼 spirit. Survived threshing and Massverse merch at Target, got a red dragon, and a tshirt, chain journal and a TOG puzzle 😭Tried a new cookie recipe with coconut sugar and oats and they were DAMN GOOD. Lots of snuggles with big dog who loves his Halloween blanket and Pizza Muffins explain themselves. Haunted Mini Golf is an October must @surfsupminigolfandtikibar Also, still living as a Divergent, not sure my Faction but steady fangirling @veronicaroth entire catalog and cannot wait to hear her @yallfest and for “Curse the Left Hand” I will trade you a sharks tooth for an ARC? #bookstagram #yallfest #veronicaroth #romantasy #bookishcommunity by @saltwaterbutter
If I was rich I would Oprah this book so hard, “You get a copy, You get a copy, everyone’s going home with a copy of The Washwoman at the Rivers End by @meganshadeauthor “ but I’m not so for now I will just share my love here! This book immediately took up permanent residence in my rent free brain space. If you’re looking for something like you have never read before, this is it. Loved it so much 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 And how pretty is the cover??? #romantasy #booklover #scottishfolklore by @saltwaterbutter
Obsessed with @markethouseilm, last night was ACOTAR trivia and if you haven’t been-go, the vibes, drinks and whole scene is immaculate. You can dissapear on their trivia nights to Hogwarts, Velaris, NY Gossip Girl and even a Pineapple under the sea if that’s your jam. We did not win trivia but won in girlhood 👊 #acotar #wilmingtonnc #velaris Moon ring from @theshopkiki when r u coming to Wilmington? Rhysand hat from @burningpagesnc by @saltwaterbutter
In honor of finishing ACOSH, I also finished my Dollar Tree wood painting, Stumbled on this when I was looking for little crafts to paint with the kids and I immediately saw Terrasen 🌲 🦌 #ACOSH #terrasen #acotar #whitestag #throneofglass by @saltwaterbutter
Well friends, That Escalated Quickly! The Washwoman at the River’s End by @meganshadeauthor Wow 🤯 tbh this book drew me in with the cover art because it’s so beautiful, little did I know this was going to be a 6 star read that I could not stop thinking about. I love when a book is so complex and interesting that you can’t find the words to explain what it’s about to someone else, to me that makes for a brilliant book. The scenery is beautiful and tragic at the same time, the pure bliss you are feeling is quickly replaced with fear and guttural terror. You know that you shouldn’t fall in love with the FMC but for some reason you can’t help yourself. The plot of this book had me so hooked from the beginning. The MMC is such a stud but also a complete golden retriever. The spice,🫰 🌶️ is literally unexplainable how well written it is. The ending is diabolical and Megan Shade is an absolutely incredible author with this story, the twists and turns left me breathless. I adored the ending and cannot wait to see where the rest of the story goes. Until then, I’m going to miss everyone at the tavern and the village. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ star, I read on Kindle➕but I will immediately be getting a bookshelf trophy for this Absolute work of art! 🖼️ 📕 by @saltwaterbutter
Not me leaving this here to convince you to read this Christmas book with me, the ‘Ber months are here, so it’s not to early. I started this one last night and I’m already hooked, @christinedrummondwrites is an incredible storyteller. It is a Perfect November Book Club read! by @saltwaterbutter
