Just wow 🤩 I just can’t get over how amazing these pictures that @alteraa.aperture did! I can’t thank her enough for being so kind and understanding especially when craftsmanship judging was running behind (which is totally ok) and we had to do our shoot in the hallway as I waited. I know,I will be on the look out if they do NDK next year as I have some ideas for my great fairy Tera cosplay 💕 #adventuretime #adventuretimeprincessbubblegum #cosplayerofinstagram by @saltyweebkitty

It’s over a week Since I was able to take the stage with Princess Bubblegum. I am still in Awe over all the amazing competitors and honestly being able to get on stage with them after being waitlisted is still something that blows my mind. As I wait for all of the amazing photos I got taken I wanted to show off my buildbook! Maybe even inspire someone 💕😉 I want to really thank @snowhitedahlia and Ken (not sure if I follow them or is they have an account) for taking the time to really guide me and give me advice to put out the best buildbook I feel like I have personally made so far. Cheers to the next one! ✌🏻✨ #ndk2026 #cosplayofinstagram #adventuretimepbcosplay #cosplaybuildbook by @saltyweebkitty

I can’t believe another year at NDK has come and gone. It was a year of new experiences with being in my first car show (which was so much fun!) I went from being the bottom of a wait list for the cosplay showcase to actually getting in and being able to be on stage with all the other amazing contestants. I was able to have my first photoshoot too (totally booking again! And will post the photos soon!!) and I got to meet some amazing people in real life from the discord that I have talked to a lot over the last few months. One for the books and now to start planning the next cosplay 😉 as I have some fun ideas planned for the big 30 of NDK next year 😘#ndk2026 #cosplay #coloradocosplay by @saltyweebkitty

My line up for #ndk2026 come say hi if you see me!! by @saltyweebkitty

Almost 700 hours, 936 hand glued peals (not including the charms) later and Princess bubblegum is officially done. I still need shoes, to test my make up and do my final looks for my build book. But I can’t believe she is done. So many new skills and improving on already known skills. Am I alittle teary eyed? Yes, will I most likely weep alittle when I finally try her own completely make up and all? Most definitely! But I will say she is some of my finest works and my cleanest to date! The lab coat itself I am soooooo proud of I can’t even begin to explain it. I will eventually post my final pictures but most likely not until after NDK 😉 cheers! 🙌🏼 #adventuretime #cosplay #princessbubblegum #cosplayerofinstagram by @saltyweebkitty

Wow did styling this wig take a loooooong time 🫠🫠 from almost 8 hours of crimping to having the tinsel put in by hand. The wig alone took almost 17 hours to complete. I plan to put some glitter to finish it off at the end but I am one set closer to finishing up. I hope to have the whole cosplay done by the end of June so I can start focusing on my build book and my performance video (have to teach myself to video editing 😭) #cosplayer #princessbubblegum #coloradocosplayer #cosplayerofinstagram by @saltyweebkitty

Saturday I got the opportunity to compete at my first FanExpo in Denver. It was so much fun and honestly bringing Pumpkaboo back one last time for now was heart warming. I only got one picture but it was worth it because @zelphyra_cosplay chandelure was amazing and us ghost types have to stick together haha standing in line with @albarnics and literally being star struck when we saw Mathew Lillard and the Xfiles back stage will be a core memory for me. Know you made a friend that day and hope I see you at NDK because you rock!Without you in line I feel like I would have gotten really nervous and become the introvert that I am. ❤️enough of that! Haha cheers to an amazing Con and on to finishing Princess Bubblegum for NDK this year as you know I will take that stage if I get in and rock it 😘😉 by @saltyweebkitty

It’s here!! The picture doesn’t do this wig justice but with help from you guys I was able to find the perfect one! Epic cosplay has scored some major brownie points with me as they were quick lol and I bought some tinsel on Amazon so I am going to attempt to add some ✨sparkle✨ to it. But first have to fix up Pumpkaboo for FanExpo lol #cosplay #cosplayerofinstagram #princessbubblegum #adventuretime by @saltyweebkitty

The amount of pearls…candy charms and sheer will power I had to have to get this dress together has been a journey lol might add more candy as I feel like it has a lot of negative space. But over all the dress is done. Now on to the lab coat and wig (once I purchase) #cosplay #adventuretime #princessbubblegumcosplay #cosplayersofınstagram by @saltyweebkitty

Progress has been slow due to trim issues but finally I am on my way to getting the train done. Unfortunately the pearls are being hand done so that is a long process as well. But honestly it’s coming out beautifully 👏❤️#princessbubblegum #adventuretimecosplay #cosplayer #cosplayersofig by @saltyweebkitty

It’s a slow process, but bubblegums dress is nearly done! The sleeves are another story…I always forget how much I hate doing sleeves 😵‍💫 almost time to start the cape in the back…that is going to be new to me for sure. Pssst…she has pockets 👀 #cosplay #princessbubblegum #cosplayprogress by @saltyweebkitty
