Cows, beautiful, gentle, curious animals… tasty af #donttelltheothervegans Every bite, every bottle and every mouthful of milk, every leather product in your life, with no exceptions, has contributed to the devastating impacts of industrial animal agriculture felt around the world. World cattle “inventory” 2020 stands at roughly 1 billion. 300 million cows will be slaughtered this year and it won’t be pretty. Dairy farms are wiping out our natural ecosystems Beef farms and cattle ranches are wiping out our natural ecosystems Burning and bulldozing of rainforests, replacing biodiversity with monocultures, prolific habitat destruction, decreased carbon absorption, disrupted water cycles and the mass displacement of indigenous people. Methane gas is being released at an alarming rate and it’s 34x more powerful a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. #greatnews The consequences of your diet go far beyond the welfare of these wonderful animals Agriculture originally designed to sustain is in full-on destruction mode. It’s time to re-imagine our relationship with nature #youarepowerful #destructiveaf #consequences #flexitarian #veggie #meatfreemondays #meatsubstitutes #vegan #gotbeef #300millioncows #methanebreath #givebeefthechop #donthaveacowman #removeyourcooperationfromthisbrokensystem by @sam.shep.herd
