POSTS STORIES REELS

I did a lot of research into 1st birthday gifts, trying to find something that he wouldn’t outgrow too quickly, that would grow with him, support his development with open ended imaginative play. That’s when I found @modu.dk on @scandiborn website AD/gifted

The dreamer set comes with two wheel types, 3 different size connector pegs and a variety of different shaped blocks. The blocks are light weight and easy for him to move about and use, he loves putting the pegs in and out of all the holes and figuring it all out 🧱💭

Patiently waiting for his next instruction 🛠️

Our first creation and his emotional support connector peg 😂🩵

Already onto the next build 🧱

All the peices are perfectly sized for small hands. He was able to get involved straight away, he can move all the blocks about although the very big one is a bit tricky he gives it a go and has fun while he is at it. He curiously plays with the pieces babbling to himself as he goes 🥹

The box is always a hit 📦

Spud, Fred & Bartholomew hitched a ride 🤎

We have had this set for just over a week and it’s been made into countless things - stepping stones, a set of binoculars, a perfect place to hide and seek and a train to name a few! I’m genuinely excited to see what he creates next and what we can create together, to watch his imagination grow and see him playing 🥹 by @samgrayer_

ad Something we use everyday? Is this changing mat that fits on top of our cot. It’s great as we didn’t need to buy any extra furniture to use as a changing table either and it comes with two covers.

The new Motion InBra pump from @medela_uk_eu

I was sent this new pump to test out. I received it last Monday, I pump once a day and here are my thoughts; it’s comfortable, I noticed from the first use it is more gentle than other pumps I’ve tried but this doesn’t impact the effectiveness. In fact it took less time than usual to collect the same amount. It’s comfortable and easy to adjust the settings from stimulation to expressing - both mimics baby’s natural sucking pattern. There are only three parts to clean which is a big plus (I have one extra piece to clean as I need to adjust the size), it is dishwasher safe but I have only hand washed mine. Also the charge seems to be really good, I’ve only charged it once so far and it’s still going, it does say it holds charge for up to 10 uses.

I tried this jumper on a 3 years ago, I liked it at the time but now I wish I’d purchased it as it would make an excellent breastfeeding top….off to trawl preloved seller sites to track one down, wish me luck!

our baby bubble 🫧

This little guy arrived promptly on his due date eight weeks ago. I’ve been trying to soak it all in, he changes everyday and I’d like to go back to day one and do it all over again. by @samgrayer_

I have stocked up my @tibaandmarl caddy ✔️

I’ve included what I think I need, have I missed anything? There is still lots of space and empty pockets I can fill, what would you add to it? Let me know!

Ready to pop 💥

One of the few items of maternity clothing I did buy was this maternity tank, all my non-maternity tops were getting a bit short. I also bought it in black and I have worn them a lot, I’m hoping they will still be ok postpartum too but that’s yet to be tried out.

ad Fitting the finishing touches 🚪

I spent a lot of time hunting down the perfect hardware to fit on our new doors. It had to be brass, it had to match other brassware and we also loved a knurled detail, and @ironmongeryexperts pulled it out of the bag with these beauties from @carlislebrass

We (when I say we I mean Matt did all the hard work while I watched and passed the tools) fitted these and I am over the moon with how they look on our doors. The heavy duty latches, the flat rose and knurled handles is perfection.

I’m always wearing the same thing these days, a tried and tested combo of an elasticated trouser and something oversized (and some fluffy lined Birkenstocks for some comfort for my feet 😅).

I’ll link everything on my stories.

ad Nesting made easy with @lick and @snuzuk 🤍

I found selecting paint colours so hard, but the stick samples from @lick really do make it easy, they are an exact colour match which is such a big help.

I chose WHITE 03, I would describe the colour as a multi-dimensional fresh warm off white/cream. I decided to paint the ceiling, walls and woodwork in the same colour, just swapping the matt finish for the walls and ceiling for an eggshell finish on the wood. I’ve never done this before and I love the results.

The latest bedside crib from @snuzuk the snuzpod5 has a zip-down wall, rocking stand, lift-off bassinet & wheels for portability. It also comes in nine colour options, this one is cashmere and I love it paired with @lick WHITE 03.

Off to buy more ice cream 🍦

Another maternity look wearing none-maternity clothes…this oversized tee I’ve had for a while I also have it in white and black. The trousers I have the same pair in a medium which I wore a lot due to the elasticated waistband, when I was still at work and in the office I bought this pair in a couple of sizes up on vinted for £5!
