Happy 35 my Bud.
Bloody good dad, ridiculously good husband and the calm to whatever the fuck we’ve got going on at any given moment. You love us endlessly and we feel it. You rarely complain about the absolute circus you’ve found yourself in. 🖤😭 LYSM. by @sams_instafam

Today was one we’ll hold onto for a while ❤️ by @sams_instafam

Buckle up! This is a big one 😂
Today marks a decade since I committed my life to yours. 10 years since I promised to support you being you, regardless of where that leads us. 3653 days since I stood there in Vegas, a 24 year old man unsure about so much in this world, but unequivocally certain about the love and fascination I have for you.
Since that day, we’ve lived multiple different lives, grown into completely different people, and learnt a lot more about ourselves, each other, and the world. We’ve raised two awesome kids together, worked our asses off side by side, we’ve made some amazing memories with family and friends, and, of course, made our way through some dark times.
Through all of this, I think the main thing I have learnt on this journey has been, the only thing that doesn’t change in this world, is the fact that it’s always changing. But there’s one exception to that: the love and adoration that I have for you. That is forever constant.
You, and all of the previous versions and versions yet to come of you, completely and utterly invigorate me.
I know I may joke and gripe about being a house husband, which is something I never really set out to be, but is something I’m more than happy to do to allow you the freedom, time and mental space to be you.
Your want and need to change jobs and careers every so often may scare the 💩 out of me, but has also brought so many great opportunities, good times and good people into our lives, which otherwise wouldn’t have happened.
The fact that whenever we have a few hours down time, you decide you’d like to paint another damn wall another colour, may irk me at the time, but I love that it has created such a quirky, unique, and fun house for our kids to grow up in, showing them that the world doesn’t have to be just 4 white walls.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, even the few things that I find to whinge and rib you about, are actually things that I love and appreciate about you. To me, you are Wabi-Sabi, perfectly imperfect, and I look forward to the next decade and seeing where you and your beautiful, creative and unique ways lead us next.

I love you Bud, absolutely, unconditionally and endlessly ❤️ by @sams_instafam

And just like that, we have an 8 year old 🥲 by @sams_instafam

Almost 14 years of knowing you, not much less of loving you, and 9 years of being married to you ❤️

We’ve changed, grown, evolved, broken down and built back up again. It’s been a hell of a ride and I’m sure that year 10 will have it’s own surprises in store for us, but there is no one else I’d rather live my life for and with.

I’m thankful every single day that you gave the guy that was everything you didn’t want, the chance to become the man you did, and I look forward to spending the rest of my life making that gamble pay off 🎰

Love you Bud. Happy anniversary 😘 by @sams_instafam
