Back with more Yindii dessert finds! 🍰 I absolutely loved most of the bags I got this time, everything was so pretty and tasted good too! Look at that flower tart, it’s almost too pretty to eat 🥹🌸 But my favourite has to be the bag from My Aunty Bakery! So many goodies for just $15, which worked out to $1.25 per item?! The pesto focaccia was so fragrant and the madeleine and financier were buttery and soft. Would happily get this bag again if I can catch it before it sells out 😭🤍 I always enjoy opening these Yindii blind boxes because you never know what surprises you’ll get hehe 🤭 Such a fun way to try different bakeries, enjoy some treats and help reduce food waste too! If you’re trying Yindii for the first time, use my referral code AYWY3QBD to get $2 off your first save! 🛍 #yindii #foodrescue #sgdeals #foodwaste #sgfoodie by @sandytummy
This cafe is SO cottagecore aesthetic 🥹🌷 The interior is super pretty and there are so many cute corners that are perfect for photos 📸✨ And the cakes and bakes are even more Instagram-worthy! Every single item was so cute and pretty that I honestly couldn’t bear to destroy them 😭💗 They also have a DIY cake experience, which I think would make such a cute date idea 🎂🫶🏻 And their talent and eye for design is honestly crazy because I spotted the prettiest jellycat cakes and other creations in the fridge 🐱🌸 If you’re looking for somewhere to take nice pictures and have some dessert, you definitely have to check out Vicbakery at one-north! 💕 📍Vicbakery #sgeats #sgfoodie #sgcafe #sgdessert #jellycat by @sandytummy
☕️✨ Looking for specialty coffee with a unique twist? Cheerful Goat is definitely one to check out! With over 15 creative drinks across different categories, there’s something for every coffee lover. My personal ranking of the 4 drinks we tried: 🥇 Amaize-ing 🥈 Ocean Bloom 🥉 Dirty Nana 4️⃣ One in a Melon Honestly, all four were fantastic it just comes down to personal preference, with the top two suiting my tastebuds a little more. 🌽 Amaize-ing was easily my favourite although the combination of corn milk and coffee sounds unusual at first, it worked out incredibly well! The coffee was rich and aromatic, with a subtle sweetness and lingering corn aftertaste that kept me going back sip after sip. 🌸 Ocean Bloom was a refreshing blend of lychee rose tea and cold brew coffee. The fruity lychee and rose floral notes were perfectly balanced with the coffee, allowing both flavours to shine. Pairing it with the seaweed cracker made the tea notes stand out even more! 🍌 Dirty Nana combines banana with espresso for a rich, chocolatey coffee that’s complemented by a subtle banana aroma. It was smooth and surprisingly addictive. 🍉 One in a Melon is the lightest and fruitiest of the bunch. It’s refreshingly minty with a slight tangy finish perfect for cooling down on a hot day. The creativity behind every drink genuinely impressed me and left me excited to come back and explore the rest of their menu. If you’re looking to step outside the usual latte or flat white, this is the place to do it! ☕️💛 Cheerful Goat 📍155 Waterloo St, #01-07 Stamford Arts Centre, Singapore 187962 #sgeats #sgfoodie #coffee #sgcafe by @sandytummy
Joy Cake is officially No. 1 on my cake list! How are these cakes so pretty AND so yummy?!?! 🍰🥹 The Cinnamon Apple Basque Cheesecake was my favourite! Like apple pie in cheesecake form, so silky and rich with little apple bits that added a slight crunch 🍎 I’m already craving it again while editing this! The Pistachio Raspberry Avocado cake was a hit with all my friends too 🥑 Creamy avocado, nutty pistachio and crunchy chocolate balls, with raspberry adding a sweet and slightly tangy twist. So many flavours and textures that worked so well together! And the caramel pudding?! SO PRETTY ✨ It looked like it would be really sweet, but it was just right! Super creamy and eggy, with such a lovely vanilla bean fragrance 🍮 I can’t emphasise enough how much I enjoyed these desserts 😭 The shop is really cute too, so save this for your next little cake date in Holland V! 📍Joy Cake 25A Lorong Liput, Holland Village, Singapore 277735 #sgfoodie #sgeats #SGDesserts #SGCafe #sgcakes by @sandytummy
[GIVEAWAY‼️] A little matcha hideaway in Tampines, with the cutest little mascot! 👶🏽🍵 We had the pleasure of trying 2 of their drinks and the Strawberry Sakura Matcha was our favourite! 🌸 The sakura added a fragrant floral twist, paired beautifully with strawberry compote, creating a lovely drink with just the right amount of sweetness. 🍓 The Salted Hojicha Fog was another highlight! Extra creamy with a lovely roasted flavour and a salty kick. 🍂 Best enjoyed fresh while the foam is still fluffy! A little matcha spot just beside Geylang Serai Market 🍵✨ Matcha by A is a Muslim-owned home-based business, and I tried their Earl Grey Matcha and Mango Matcha! The Earl Grey added a fragrant floral twist, while the mango brought a sweet, fruity flavour that paired nicely with the earthy matcha 🥭 Both were just the right sweetness! Save this for a little matcha pick-me-up when you’re around Geylang Serai 🍵 💌 Thank you @matchabya.sg for the invite and @homeboss.io for coordinating! 📍Matcha by A 55 Changi Road Singapore 419709 #sgfoodie #sgeats #sghbb #supportlocal #sgmatcha by @sandytummy
If you want a break from Tonkotsu Ramen, check out the Tori Paitan Ramen at Tori San 🍗🍜 The Truffle Umami Toripaitan Chicken Ramen had such a rich, creamy chicken broth and prominent truffle taste , with noodles that soaked up all that flavour. A comforting bowl to slowly slurp your way through 🤭 The Agemono Don came loaded with fried chicken, ebi fry, pumpkin and a ramen egg 🍤 My favourite was actually the pumpkin! Crispy outside, soft and creamy inside with that natural sweetness. So good with the rice! We also shared the Assorted 9-Skewer Yakitori Platter 🍢 It comes with chicken thigh, chicken breast and chicken meatballs in Original, Mentaiko and Kimchi flavours, so you get to try a little of everything! If you want something more, get the Fried food platter and grilled vegetable platter to share! The Calpis slushie was a refreshing sip between all the ramen and fried food 🧊 Bring someone who loves chicken as much as you do hehe! 📍Tori San 雞湯桑 Woodleigh/ Telok Ayer #sgfoodie #sgeats #sgrestaurant #sgfoodlover by @sandytummy
Brunch plans at Suntec City? Save Olivia & Co for your next catch-up 🍳☕️ The steak was so juicy with a lovely pink centre! 🥩 Loved the sprinkle of salt on top, keeping it simple so the flavour could really shine. The Eggs Benedict was such a good combi too! Golden potato croquettes, creamy poached eggs and smoked salmon adding that savoury flavour. Get a little of everything in one bite 🤭 Their bread pudding was a pleasant surprise! Not too sweet, with a generous pool of vanilla custard to spoon over every bite. Something a little different to share after brunch 🍮 Really enjoyed the Maldon Sea Salt Mocha Latte, with chocolatey coffee and a salty twist 🍫 The Strawberry Matcha Float was a nice treat too tho I hope the matcha taste could be stronger🍓🍵 Such a nice spot for a slow brunch before a little shopping hehe 🛍️ 📍Olivia & Co. 3 Temasek Boulevard, Suntec City North Atrium, #01-481, Singapore 038983 #sgfoodie #sgeats #sgbrunch #suntec by @sandytummy
Always a comforting meal at NanYang Dao 🍜🥢 Was so excited to try their KITKAT collab dessert and egg tart, but they were SOLD OUT 😭 Still got my comfort food fix with the Chilli Pan Mee! Not too spicy, with saucy, chewy noodles, runny egg yolk and fried fish. Mix everything together and yumz 🤭 The carrot cake was so soft and full of wok hei! Love it! The salted egg sauce was a little diluted for my liking, but the chicken chop was huge and thick 🍗 Loved that it came with egg fried rice for extra flavour too! And can we talk about how cute the little Milo dinosaur is?! 🦖🍫 You really can’t go wrong with Milo hehe. The 3 Layers Milk Tea with grass jelly had plenty of flavour and texture too 🧋 Save this for your next makan catch-up when you’re craving something comforting! Thank you @nanyangdao for the invite!💌 📍Nan Yang Dao 南洋岛 Multiple outlets across Singapore #sgfoodie #sgeats #sgrestaurant #nanyang #niceplacetoeat by @sandytummy
Kooks has the best lava cookies! 🍪🍦 Been coming back for about 6 years, and they never disappoint! My usual picks are Honey Milk and Blue Chai Hokkaido Milk, but both were out of stock that day 😭 So we went for Ferrero Rocher with the Chocolate Lava Cookie, and Raspberry Lychee with the Matcha Lava Cookie! The chocolate combi was super rich and creamy, with nutty hazelnut ice cream, gooey chocolate lava and a buttery cookie 🍫 Best shared with friends so it doesn’t get too jelak hehe 🤭 The raspberry lychee pairing was SO PRETTY! Sweet and fruity ice cream with slightly bitter matcha lava, such a good balance 🍵💕 We also had a Strawberry Matcha Latte and Sparkling Yuzu to sip on! If you haven’t tried their lava cookies, grab a friend and give them a go! 🥄 📍Kooks Creamery Serangoon & Bedok #sgfoodie #sgeats #SGDesserts #SGCafe by @sandytummy
HANJIP is a good KBBQ spot to save for your next dinner in Clarke Quay! Had such a spread here, and I love that the staff handle the grilling and cutting so we could just eat and catch up 🤭 Just look at the marbling on the meat! Watching everything sizzle over charcoal definitely got us hungry and all the different cuts tasted divine😋 There’s plenty to share beyond the BBQ too! We had the Spicy Chicken with Cheese, and that stretchy cheese pull deserves a moment 🧀 Also added a seafood pancake, Tofu Stew and Black Chicken Ginseng Soup to complete the feast 🍲 Ended with mango and matcha bingsu because there’s always room for something sweet hehe 🥭🍧 Send this to your KBBQ buddy and get that dinner date out of the group chat 👀 📍HANJIP Korean Grill House 3C River Valley Road, Clarke Quay, Block C, #01-11, Singapore 179022 #sgfoodie #sgeats #sgkbbq #sgkoreanfood by @sandytummy
Born on an odd-numbered date? You get 1-for-1 brunch at Home Dawn!! 👀🍳 Had such a spread here, and the Truffle Carbonara Udon had a really prominent truffle flavour 🍝 The noodles felt more like linguine than the usual thick udon! The Salmon Namjim Croissant was generously filled with salmon, with a citrusy tang that went so well with the buttery pastry 🥐 The Beer-Battered Snapper was crispy without being overly oily, and we also had chicken karaage, sweet potato fries and Pain Perdu to share 🍓 Send this to your friend with an odd-numbered birthday and let them know they’re in charge of the next brunch outing hehe 🤭 For more details check their IG page! 📍Home Dawn 3A River Valley Road, Clarke Quay, #02-03, Singapore 179020 #sgfoodie #sgeats #SGFoodDeals #sgcafe by @sandytummy
