Places & Faces came alive on 25th August at the Raja Ravi Verma Art Gallery, marking a memorable inauguration filled with art, conversations, and warm encounters.

The day brought together art lovers, fellow artists, mentors, and friends who came to experience this visual journey through places, people, memories, and moments. Each painting reflects my observations from journeys and everyday life, translated through colour, light, architecture, and human expressions.

Grateful to everyone who joined me and made the opening so special.

Places & Faces is open till 30th August.
I warmly invite you to visit the exhibition and experience the works in person. by @sanjay.desai.9678

PLACES & FACES

A Visual Archive by Shailesh Meshram

“An invitation to pause, observe, and rediscover the stories woven between places and faces.”

Places & Faces is a collection of watercolour paintings shaped by journeys across cultures, cities, and moments of human connection. Each painting is an act of observation—capturing the character of a place, the spirit of its people, and the quiet stories that emerge where they meet.

From bustling streets and timeless architecture to expressive faces and fleeting encounters, these works celebrate the beauty of everyday life through the transparency and spontaneity of watercolour.
